Which powdered colostrum do you recommend? Going to try your recipe for my next bottle babies! Thank you

I've used the Dumor brand carried by Tractor Supply and its worked just fine for me in the past.

Do you warm the milk mixture before feeding the lamb?

In the beginning I would just a bit to take the chill off, but eventually I quit that completely and the lamb would still gobble it up no problem!

Thank you! I have 2 lambs that are 2.5 weeks old and I’m going to try this instead of formula. I was only going to try formula bc I thought heating water would be easier but if I don’t need to worry about heating the milk, that would be awesome!

@@CarrieHaney-ng8dc have they already transitioned to using a bottle? If they're still new to a bottle, you might want to heat it up just so that it doesn't shock their little mouths and turn them off from bottle feeding. But if they're already used to drinking from a bottle, you should be able to give it to them cold no problem.

Yes, they have been on a bottle from day one. We just got them yesterday and I know we have several months of feedings ahead of us so I'm trying to make it as easy for the kids and I as possible.

@@CarrieHaney-ng8dc I really don't think they'll have a problem taking it cold. But I wouldn't suggest suddenly putting them on this if they've been on formula. I would gradually switch it over so that it doesn't cause any stress on their digestive system. Sudden changes in any kind of food is never good.
