DIY Lamb Creep Feeder

I normally finish lambs on good leafy grass using a rotational grazing / paddock system. This year however grass growth stalled during a dry spell which spanned May and June. I knew I needed to act immediately and supplement lambs with concentrate, but I had never creep fed before. Ideally I would have needed to act impulsively and buy a creep feeder, a good one that ticked all the boxes (if there is such a thing ). Rushing into anything isn't a good idea, especially when the outlay would be in excess of €1000. Rather than procrastinating I jumped straight in and made my own creep feeder to keep the lambs thriving. From my own trials and errors, research and talking to a couple of local farmers there is no perfect creep feeder. I now know I need a wheeled, hand movable creep feeder that will accommodate 20+ lambs, keep sheep out and lambs safe from choking, keep feed dry and clean and minimise waste to crows and vermin.
