Final cabinet dimensions:
14 5/8" (width) x 7 3/4" (height) x 7 3/8" (depth)
Drawer cut list, where H is the height of the drawer:
1 @ 13.5" x 6.5" (bottom)
2 @ H x 6.25" (sides)
2 @ H x 13.5" (front / back)
2 @ 0.5" x 6.75" (drawer slides)
(Note: out of 1/4in plywood)

@@itsme339 I totally agree! It was a worthwhile experiment, but I don't think it came out as well as I hoped.

I recommend using baking soda to let the drawers slide smoothly and making sure that after sanding the drawers clean them with a cloth (not wet of course). I've used it when making a wooden dual action hidden blade from Assassin's Creed (design by RAWICE511 on KZread). The mechanism can be quite compact so adding baking soda just seems to make everything glide smoother.

I like your design and build for the most part. My question is did you use glue only for the joints or did you go back and add brads or small screws to strengthen the joints?

I ended up using only glue. It's held together so far at least!

Mostly just to protect the outside. And, in my opinion, it makes it look a little bit more put together!
