Sorry, I knew I was going to do it but didn't think of it when I was buying materials. So I didn't actually have it on me. But you just cut a piece to size and lay it in. like a bandaid kind of.

I think they sell those shoe inserts which are supposed to prevent friction on the back of your feet, I guess you can use them

Love the iridescent look, it looks so delicate like a real butterfly. Love it.

I wanted to wear the SW's for my wedding but could not bring my self to spend that money .I tried doing something on my Cricut but got frustrated . So glad you found a way to dupe these !! Love your channel

I combined multiple of your DIYs to make my graduation shoes. I used your technique on the Jimmy Choo ombre glitter heels to turn tan leather pumps in rose gold- to- white glitter ombre shoes. Then, I used this technique above to attach minnie mouse ears to the back base of the pump (I used to intern at Disney and was a big reason for graduating- took me 7 years total!) I also used a technique I saw in different DIY for painting the bottoms Louboutin red, so I added that too. Thanks for posting your DIYs. I truly enjoy watching, learning, and gaining new skills, plus I love your passion and energy!

I did something like this for my daughters sneakers. I used the butterflies and flowers from a headband. But never thought to do this to my own shoes. I love this. 💕. Love saving money lol

Love this! I have been staring at the little girls shoes, foe my grand daughter. But the price! I’m going to try this! Glad you walked in them, the wings separate to leave room for your heal...I would have overthought that. So glad I have a reason to use my expensive kam snap brads. I’ll post if I get these done.( maybe by Easter).

Hi Orly I'd substitute the brad pins (called Love Pins in the UK when I was a kid) for silver/gold domed Snap Fasteners (we call these Press Studs in the UK) and just glue them on to avoid making the holes and the pins possibly rubbing the heels despite the additional covering. Your idea is still great though: )

Orly I have no words !!! THEY TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL!!!! I first saw the Sophia Webster butterfly heel shoes last year an I was willing to spend the money but the only thing holding me back was that thin heel so I never got them but I did get her butterfly sandals, flats , and butterfly clutch .. one day last week I was on youtube trying to see how I can make a butterfly for some projects I wanted to do ( nonething to do with this Quarantine) an I ran into your video an I was hook , I've been studying it every day just so I get down every step , today I wrote down the materials needed an wrote down every step by step , I plan on ordering everything I need to design this butterfly on my pair of shoe ( iam using a not so old shoe but one iam willing to practice on ) , wish me luck ... you should do a DIY on Sophia Webster butterfly clutch that would make me the happiest person in the world to be able to do the butterfly shoe an butterfly clutch....please pretty please make a DIY video on her butterfly clutch ❤ again you did a great job , iam so gald I ran into ur channel... Not only are you INSANELY Creative, your videos are easy to follow and entertaining!!

The best part of this is that you can customize it with more than butterflies. Anything that is symmetrical will work. Like a gingerbread man or candy canes for Christmas, bats for Halloween, so many options!

I never heard of these butterfly shoes. In fact I really watched this video because I always enjoy whatever your doing! You enthusiasm is so delightful, inspiring and uplifting. I'm surprised that I really like the gold shoes, even though they are not my personal style I really love them on you and how they were styled.
