I am thrilled with this DIY!!! If you don't want to make your own custom ties, I show you how you can do this in 30 seconds flat!!
*
Just make sure to use a pair of heels that has removable ankle straps so that you can swap them out easily.

You might even be able to leave the original strap on for extra support (as long as the scarf is able to completely cover it and the hole is large enough for both). I know I always have issues with tie-ankle shoes coming untied or loosening as I walk, so leaving a buckle strap on might help prevent that!

yea totally. as long as the casing is wide enough you could absolutley fit both!
This is so timely. I lost a strap to a pair of shoes...now I can just do this diy to make new straps!

You picked out some lovely fabric for this project. Every one compliments the shoe. Beautiful work! Lady, you did it again!
This is how I fixed a pair of sandals that lost one of the straps! Silk looks so good against your skin!

This is brilliant!! Absolutely brilliant! Especially the neck tie idea!! Thank you so much!
Super cute!!! Love it!!!
That purple pair is 🔥 Awesome way to multiple the style of a pair of shoes
freaking amazing!!! a definite scrap buster project!! ty
Yaasss!!!! I love it💓💓!!!
WELL DONE. EXCELLENT Even ! The denim pair is MY fav!
Wow that was amazing thanks a lot definitely going to try it
I love the shoes! Great idea. However instead of doing the ends after turning cut the ends first start sewing from the tip and leave the opening in the center of the tie. Clip the pointed corner to reduce bulk. Then turn it right side out through the opening. Then stitch the opening closed. This will give you a more finished tie end and it will be easier to sew up the center opening.

I made myself a couple of pairs of these . I used flats. I used an old clear bra strap that I cut folded and glued a 1 inch piece of inside the back of the shoes so I can switch the straps or wear the shoes without. Love you work

omg yay!!! thanks babe!
This is super and something I use to do many years ago, I added beads to the smaller straps with sandals. Or you can use silk ribbon. But you don’t need to blind hem so much of the ends. You can cut and sew on the wrong side leave a opening turn inside them blind hem the small opening.
I am in love with your flats!!
Too cute and thank you, I’m heading to Florida Labor Day weekend and will be trying this out. Thank you so much. Keep them coming I love your tutorials.
Oh you nailed it again, so, so, chic!!
Awesome!!! Love this idea so simple x
Loved it 😍😍

Usually, if you press the seam BEFORE you turn it inside out, it makes pressing it afterwards even easier.

Orly Shani those shoes are super cute love them all but my super faves are the denim heels with darker scarf 😍😍😍
This idea is awesome 👏🏼 💕 the hot pink sandals that you showed on the young lady reminds me of sandals we use to buy at the rematé or swap meet, it was a a white sandal and you could change the ribbons any color you wanted and you could buy different colors ribbons 🎀 WOW....that was about 30 years ago 😳
Brilliantly created ❤️
I just luuuurve your positive vibe and your vids a super simple 😉
