Well, I don't quite know what to say about these heels except "THEY"RE SO EPIC AND GORGEOUS AND I CAN'T WALK 5 FEET WITHOUT BEING STOPPED!"
These are a HACK of the Christian Louboutin "So Kate" Glitter Heels which cost $795!
***************************************
Make sure you listen to the voice over because there are a few tricks to make the tape peel perfectly. I learned it while doing my second shoe and I explain in the voice over!
MATERIALS
1/8" Painters Tape - bit.ly/2DXZzAg
Glitter Set- bit.ly/2E0q6wG
Mod Podge- bit.ly/2SSJaY7
Paint Brush- bit.ly/2E20GyL
The hack costs about $20-$35 to do on a pair of heels!
I bought my black faux suede pumps in downtown LA for $17 but you could use any heels you want as long as they're a fabric and not slick leather.
I have linked all other materials that you need up above but if you have any questions, please let me know!

Fabulous....In the late 60's early 70's when money wasn't there for me to just buy another pair of shoes, I used shoe dye to perk up my shoes. Going through many colour changes starting with light until they reached the end of the line and had to be dark. I really looked after my shoes, applied the dye carefully, using every trick to keep them still looking good. Many times my Mum examined the sole to check I wasn't wasting my hard earned money! I still adore shoes and your DIY is soooo tempting, if I had somewhere special to go.... Now, let me think 🤔 😁

If you spray a clear gloss on the shoe, it'll seal in the glitter so it doesn't shed. Just do a test run on the clear gloss because some brands dry foggy and some dry like gorgeous glass.

Shanelle Warner If you use shoes, that bend as you walk (so all flats, pretty much), you‘ll get a breakline/creaseline almost immediately though. At that part, where used leather shoes have that visible creaseline, too. Don’t know, if it’ll be enough, to make the glitter fall off, but be prepared for it not to look perfect for long. With heels, you don’t have that problem, because you don’t roll your foot from heel to toes while walking. If you use flats, ballerinas with a wide cut-out are your best bet. You know, the ones that barely cover your toes.

Mod podge is pretty flexible because it's a glue. You might actually be ok as long as you don't do a REALLY thick layer or glitter. Fine glitter and only as much as you need to cover the show and you should be ok.@@raraavis7782

Mod Podge makes a glossy spray fixative/clear coat. Supposed to be less tacky than the regular Mod Podge. I just bought a can for my arts and crafts, will have to see how well it holds up to fabric and glitter. I'm planning on painting tables and shoes with acrylic then sealing with either that spray or Minwax Polycrylic, which everyone online seems impressed by. Fingers crossed!

Is this Minwax something that dries solid or flexy? When you start wearing the shoes you don't want all of that lacquer to crack and crumble. The glitter will also fall off eventually but without showing

loretta, poor quality, poor fit, and not knowing how to walk in them are the causes of those problems. i teach women professionally how to walk in heels, and with proper mechanics and properly fitted shoes they don't experience those problems. btw, they are italian shoes.

@@louiscyfer6944 I beg to differ... you're not a orthopedist or a podiatrist. I find it ironic: good shoes for your back and knees, do not require someone to have to " teach someone to walk" in them. I doubt Michael Jordan had to have someone teach him how to walk in his sneakers lol It's conspicuous consumption that causes many females knees and back to hurt and give out earlier. My aunt used to model heels in the 1940s and 1950s, and because she wore heels so much she needed four foot surgeries and a knee replacement, and this was after custom made shoes that were made for Kleinfelds in Manhattan. Todays heels are nothing but tbe new corsets; women traded paim for more pain and claim that heels empower them, as it degenerates their bones. Get back to me when you have your doctorates in orthopaedic medicine instead of a doctorates on a drag queem runways lol
