Hey everyone, if your new to the channel welcome and if your returning welcome back! Boy I sure had fun editing this video! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did working on it. Make sure you watch till the end!
Today we're going to show you how to turn an IBC Tote into a hay feeder. They are great for all livestock animals. We only have 2 cows but I think it would work for a couple more. This is such an easy thing to do and very affordable. Most metal hay feeders at your local farm supply stores cost between $200 and up. So in my opinion it is a must to make this feeder. We got the toe for $40 but I've seen them for $40 all the way up to $100 but I think its still worth every penny!

Great Great idea 💡 I am hoping to start my own small farm I want a mini highland as my own Therapeutic animal as well as a few in the pasture some goats and a couple pigs. Trying to learn all I can! I’m looking for information on grants to help people start small farms. Any ideas for me?

That a great idea on the grant I have not looked into that myself but I believe every state has a co op. I would contact your local co op and ask them if they can steer you in the right direction. That's awesome good luck!

Do your ND goats stay inside the barbed wire fence typically? We have always had goat/sheep fence

@melissamoler we alternate electric and barbwire and they do stay in the fence. Never had an issue in the pasture. Our paddock is wood boards and the babies escape through there. But they don't go far from momma. Our goal this year is to enforce the paddock so no babies run free.
