Going old school with the hammer and nails...nice! Seems like everybody else on KZread wants to pull out their fancy pneumatic nail gun or hammer screws home with an impact driver. Nice to see it done differently every now and then. Good job!

@@frrapp2366 I understand that completely, but being in the construction industry for my entire life I appreciate the use of some ring shank framing nails.

Great design and video. I wish you would have explained what you were doing as you went along for the benefit of those who are new to building things!

I was looking for a simple design that had a tray to catch extra hay and this is perfect! I want to try combining the pallet design you had in another video and this one. Thanks a bunch, super helpful!

Thanks Todd! I was looking for a “cheap” and easy goat hay feeder just the other day and today you drop this video. Perfect timing! Any chance of you and Mrs SSL Family Mom going to that Homesteaders of America Conference in October?

I'm thinking having a platform you know they're going to try and climb on that close to the fence might not be the best idea

2 weeks, a bale and a half. 4 goats. I can't make that goat math work. My pigs (read that as "fake pigs"), all Nigerian dwarfs, go through a bale a day. It is insane. I can push it to two days but the third day there aren't even scraps of the bale left at all. 4 adults and a few nibbling kids at this point. Oy.

The good thing is one sees what is beeing done. But the the person showing that is not explaining even giving measurements.
