*DIY- HOW TO FLOCK CHRISTMAS TREE FLORALS & GLAM ICY BRANCHES *

Hello friends! In this video I show you how I flock my own Glam Christmas tree florals, and make iced glittery branch stems. Have you ever bought, or priced beautiful flocked flowers or picks for your tree? They are extremely expensive by the time you get enough to fill your tree. I plan on using these DIY flocked florals in my Christmas tree, garland, and wreaths. I can use my cabin themed decor and mix it with these snow covered, glittering magnolia flowers to create a “ Rustic Glam” look this year.
What I used~
4 Magnolia bouquets from Walmart- ($5.00 per bouquet
10 boxwood branches from Walmart -.(97 cents per stem
5 branches of lambs ear from Walmart -($2.00 per 2 stem bunch
Cut branches from my yard spray painted white
1 pack of Clear Gemstones from dollar tree (any gem, or bead will do
1 glass bead bracelet from dollar tree (cut and used individual beads
1 bag buffalo snow flurries from Walmart $5.00
1 jar of clear glitter from hobby lobby (any glitter will do
1 cup of epsom salt
1 can spray adhesive
I repeated coats of spray, then snow flurries. I alternated epsom salt, and glitter to chosen stems. When I achieved desired look, I sprayed with adhesive to seal, and protect from fall out.
My ring~

When I start the season I ALWAYS buy at least ten banquet size tablecloths while at the dollar store, cut them in half, and use them on my craft table. When I'm done it's an easy clean up. My husband leaves a pile of the sticks after he trims our trees so I can use them for crafting. And I LOVE using the dollar store Epsom salt for 'snow'. I'll definitely look for the Lambs Ear and Boxwood, those are beautiful. Thanks, nice decorating!

Absolutely gorgeous. Just a thought though on how to flock them more easily - would it be easier and faster to pour the snow in a small trash can bag, spray the glue where ever you want the flocking, then dip the pick in the bag, and close it up around the stem and shake and press the snow onto it. Then when you take it out of the bag, shaking the excess off into the bag of course, spray another layer of glue and sprinkle the glitter. I've never done it before, but it was just a thought that occurred when I saw you struggling with all your different ways, and you said it took you all day. Idk, either way it's absolutely gorgeous. I love the snowy look too.

Tfs!! I flocked branches & put big, rusty bells on them. Along w/cotton pods & some bling. They turned out cute. My tree wouldn’t hold the sticks up top so I had to handle them a lot. The flocking went EVERYWHERE! Out the front door they went. My lambs ear & magnolia’s look gorgeous. Can’t wait to get them on my tree!! Ty again. Ur trees beautiful!!🥰🥰
