How To Flock any Christmas Tree / DIY Flocking Xmas Trees Tutorial

Hey guys! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Since Christmas is just around the corner and I had an old Christmas tree laying around, I figured it was the perfect time to give it a makeover by flocking it with SnoFlock powder to give it that freshly fallen snow look I can't get enough of!! To be honest, I was a little intimidated in the beginning because it was first time trying this, but once I got it figured out it was pretty easy, quick, and fun. I already had that sifter and spray bottle laying around, along with that Christmas tree (it's actually the first tree my husband and I got when we first moved in together back in 2015!) So I just had to get the flocking powder (faux snow)(ranges from $25-$45 depending on how much you need- I got the 5 lb box so I could do a wreath as well), which is still so MUCH cheaper than just buying a pre-flocked tree (that can cost hundreds of dollars)! I think if I come across super cheap garland or clearance trees, I definitely won't hesitate now that I know I can just flock it myself for way less!

Thank you for the video. I was going to use 3M anhesive because I didn't know about the water. I thought it was powder only. The water will definitely keep it fire proof.

Wow, how great did that turn out?! 😃 Thanks for sharing this video! I already have a flocked tree but this is great to keep in mind for touch-ups over time, or even adding more to the already flocked look.

I know right!? Thanks for watching! 💕 Absolutely, my larger tree that I have in my living room that I bought pre-flocked could definitely use a touch up with how much falls off when storing away/setting up. I was even thinking flocking those plain cheap garlands/wreaths that are always left for clearance (after xmas) because everyone buys the more expensive prettier ones- ya girl is all about saving a buck by DIY-ing 😅
i did try this exact brand it didnt come out as nice as pre flocked factory made one tho. when we tried to do it heavily, it came out like urs and compromised the textures of the tree. so we gave up & bought a few flocked trees this time and they r gorgeous lol much better than the DIY we did earlier this year.
Oh and did you use the whole 5 lb box?
