DIY - How to change Spark Plug on 2004-2008 Acura TSX (K2 engines) | For Beginners (Complete Guide)

#DIY #Cars #Honda #Acura
Hello everyone, today I will show you guys how to change spark plugs in your 2006 Acura TSX car. This car has a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4 cylinder (K24A2) gasoline engine. This video should be applicable for any First-gen (CL9) Acura TSX cars produced between 2004-2008 alongside Honda Oddessey and Accord with the same K2 engines. This DIY will be very straightforward and an easy job.
This was my first time changing spark plugs. If I can do it so can you. I am literally teaching myself doing these projects and recording them at the same time. Hoping to inspire others who are intimidated by car maintenance or car-related work.

How do you know you've tighten at the right pressure without over cranking and not having a pressure reader on your wrench?

That’s it how you use that gap tool. Put the ground loop through the hole and bend back to open the gap. The way you are bending with the gauge is mashing against the electrode - no good.

That's NOT how you use the gap tool. I know that is what you meant. Good catch!

The tool is made for it and its the cheapest way. I used it couple of times and I will continuously to use it.

Wow, don't prey on the spark plug with that round tool like that. It will damage the tip of the plug! See other videos on how the re-gap a plug properly. These plugs go for about $16 each these days.
