    Spätzle, a German dumpling, uses eggs and flour. It floats after it's boiled. You might also try some baking powder to get it to float.

    @@HooksetHank Let me know if the fish like it. Look up a Spätzle recipe. You could almost just use it the way it turns out - like a little piece of corn. Maybe roll it around in some tuna oil and garlic.

    What if you don’t have cornmeal can you use corn bread mixing instead of cornmeal if you have corn bread mixing and will the power bait still work if you use cornbread flour mixing. Oh or can you just make it with out cornmeal because I don’t have cornmeal but I have cornbread flour mixing.

  • @HooksetHank

    @HooksetHank

    I'm sure it'll work with corn bread mix. But you can make it without the corn meal. Maybe just use a little extra garlic or whatever scent you'd like to use.

    After boiled and the dough goes a bit hard, would the fish still be able to bite on it nornal to set the hook?

  • @HooksetHank

    @HooksetHank

    Yes, normally after it sets in the water for a while it'll soften up some. But if you cook it for too long or too hot it'll become very hard.
