Secret Trout Dough Bait Recipe!

Can you make a version of power bait at home with some basic ing in your kitchen? When you catch trout you can say you made the bait you caught them with! The recipe in the video is can be easily customized to your area!
The basic recipe is:
3/4 cup of flour
1/4 cup corn meal
1 tsp garlic
1/4 cup of water or water packed with canned corn
2 oz of processed cheese
Alternatives:
Add food coloring
Add styrofoam flakes for buoyancy
Add extra to of anise for scent
Add ground commercial fish food pellets
Add seaweed flakes for scent
The possibilities are are many and you can adapt them toward other specific fish. More recipes to come!

    I always catch my limit with 2 or more cups of flower blend some corn and use the corn juice a lot of garlic powder some play dough so it stays better on the hook some salt it doesn't float tho

    I've used dough and cans of sardines all mixed together.... worked great

    Instead of plain water use can tuna water.

    I think I would try pig lard instead of marshmallow.. mix it enough and it should float in water

    What is it about garlic that attracts fish? ...try banana oil also

    I never have tried it but it might be worth a go. Just be careful storing it the fish is going to have a strong smell

    I would add more marshmallow fluff to the original recipe. This trout season I am going to use it in one of my videos. A long time ago before power bait trout were caught on many of the same ingredients. A sure fire way to get it to work is use a basic dough bait recipient with ground up commercial trout pellets like the ones the fish feed on at the hatcheries. This recipe should catch you fish!

    If you like those balls to flow just put them in microwave for 10-15 second and they will flow, you can thank me later

    Just sharing some old ways to catch trout that don’t involve a lot of money or buying some name brand fishing baits. This is the way we use to do it before power bait was around. You don’t need to spend tons of money just to catch fish

    Before power bait was around there were many cheap ways to catch trout. Just sharing and maybe sticking it to the big bait makers
