DIY Hardwood & Tile | Add Value to Old Houses | part 6

This is the exact interior package we use to add value to old houses on our way to building ADUs in the back yard. You can do this too!
The intent of this series is to share our favorite real estate investing strategy. We call it infill housing. We buy old houses, fix them up, rent them out and then build new detached units in the back yard. Consider it the BRRRR strategy with a new build added on. Think Build BRRRR.
For more detailed instructions on this exact build, view the series below.

No, never a replacement. Just patching in areas when we move walls or add space. We just sand and refinish.

What are your thoughts on LVP/LVT on bathroom floors instead of tile?

I always choose tile for durability and its timeless look. There are good lvp options but Im not smart on any of them. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

My dad used to work tiles too, looked like he was pumping weights all day with the weight of those tiles. Tiring just to watch.

Have you ever had to replace hardwood? If so, were you able to find the same style so it matches? Hardwood is the best floor in my humble opinion

@@joshengen4480 not had the chance to replace hardwood floors, but I know it tends to be difficult to replace if you intend to match the old and new wood
