Hi Muhammad, I am using Bostik or Bona glue. Glue color not importent for installation.Thanks for commenting!

@@MrYoucandoityourself Thanks for the fast reply. I actually don't mean the color of glue rather the common name used. They usually call the wood glue that we use to join two parts of wood together as white glue and yellow glue. Hence, my question. Can this kind of glue be used to attach wood to tile?

Thank you for the video, there isn't much out there addressing this kind of install. I'm prepping ceramic tile for glue-down wood. I have the eco primer grip, but I'm trying to take more precaution before rolling the primer. What can I use on the ceramic tile to prep, i.e. I can rent a large area buffing device with a coarse sanding disc. Would that do anything for effecting the surface of the tile? Thanks for your time.

Hi Daniel, good question! Grip very good for tile installation, but hardwood floor have mor tension, you have to sending out top of tile, make it scratched for good glue connection. I did asked Mapei and Ardex consultants, they don’t recommend use only grip for glue down. Is this clear?

@@MrYoucandoityourself Thank you for your reply. Yes, I believe you're telling me that I need to scuff the ceramic tile for better grip before glue down installation. So my next question would be, how? I have a large area to do. I can rent a large buffing device that offers coarse sand paper. Would sand paper do the job? or is there another type of material that's better to rough up ceramic? Also, I plan to prep the ceramic tile floor with Muratic Acid. I did this to my terrazzo floor prior to the first glue down job I did, and 15 years later, it's hold pretty well. Thoughts?

How do you deal with doors? After the wood install it will be higher level and may block the doors?

Is there a way to install the wood but not damage the tiles when we take it out??

If your tile level is good, you can just install hardwood floor over with floating type of installation. Thanks for watching!
