I just found you by typing in ideas for daughters room. I too have a husband who is never home. Full time mom of two, 9 y.o. daughter, 4 y.o. son. My daughters room is a mess And she needs a makeover/grownup vibe like you said. I am not creative at all and don't know where to start. Thank you for making this video! I’m in the midst of preparing for a remodel of my daughter’s bedroom. We moved here 2 years ago. She’s 5 now. I never painted her room. My husband redid her floor so she has a special floor done by her daddy that makes her happy. But I know she’s outgrowing the little girl room soon and will want something that will grow with her. I want to do a boho style room. She picked her own primary paint color for the room which is a beautiful golden yellow color. I can’t wait! Seeing this and seeing your daughter in close to my daughter’s size in the video really helped encourage me that she is ready for this! The more I watch your videos the more I realize that you are living the life I really want to live. I always wanted to make KZread videos for some income because I can't really work right now. I've always wanted to be a DIY mom who can make the house look beautiful. I am also 30 years old and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. So far I just really love you and what you do.

We’ve got a few things in common: moms of two girls each, and my daughters spend summers with their dad out of state. Each summer I try to do a room makeover and this year it was our shared bathroom. In previous years I’ve done their bedrooms. Love how your daughter’s room turned out!

Starbucks. I really like the hack about hanging artwork. I always suck at hanging the straight. Its always a little strange seeing your husband in your videos. Lol. Her room turned out so great!! Her reaction was so cute. Lol

The room looks great. I like the bench. My mom always decorated our rooms cute until we got older then we did it. I do coffee at home. We just got Dunkin but they never make the drinks right. I painted my son's room once to look like Camelot. I painted a castle on one side and ocean on other with ships. Then hid treasures around the room to find, on the paintings on the wall. Even made castle bed out of bunk bed.

Kilee, God for you girl you have to do what's right for you and your family. As a mum and working two jobs and hanging out with my Kids and there friends driving them across town i am so glad i am an empty nester now my days of running anywhere is over. I got really sick about 12 years ago now and i have been forced to retire earlier than i should have but we are doing alright my hubby and me. I do DIY's crafting and keeping my house clean. which i may add is getting harder and harder these days. I have Fibromyalgia IBS Depression due to IBS and Fibro and a pinched sciatic Nerve in my spine which seems to be getting worse. I am in my mid 50's and i am lucky to be alive from when i got really sick. I like to spend time at my Daughters and hang out with my two beautiful Grand Daughters who is 9 and almost 3. I have two sons who are grown up too one lives in British Columbia Canada and the other son is in Gatineau Quebec My youngest has a girlfriend in BC and i havent seen him in 5 year due to death's in the family, (my parents) and Covid and my oldest son is in construction and destruction not in that order of course. My hubby was in the Military and now works for the government. So i know what its like to have to do everything when your mans not home. we muddle through right. I love watching your channel and you have so much energy but girl take some time to yourself and put your feet up. I have to say i love how your Daughters room turned out and her expression told a thousand tales. I love doing all the things you like to do and i think your daughters are beautiful.

I literally love all your diy projects especially how you do everything on your own. Super inspirational. Girl power 💪🏻

This turned out sooo cute!! Also sick of summer. Living in Las Vegas, constantly 100+ for weeks at a time and nights are in the 90s. Ready for fall/winter! And the decor and holidays that come with it.

Hey girl love the make over, I hate painting as well but the finished look is rewarding. You did right surprising your little girl. Starbucks is my go to. Also the Vacuum question. I have a cleaning service SHARK is the BEST for the money. Over the top vacuum is the RAINBOW vacuum. I highly recommend both. I have recommended over 20 sharks and no one has ever been disappointed.i have used other brands I don't like them they do not compare with the handling of moving around or the cleaning. SHARK is the way to go make sure to get the floor brush with it for hardwood and other flooring with out carpet. I also like the shark steam mops. Rainbow Vacuum cleaners are my number 1 in the end they do pay for themselves, most people get put off because of the price. Best of luck with the vacuum seach.

Definitely Dunkin. Im so looking forward to more videos from you. You are one of my favorite you tubers and I love all your content. It will definitely be a breath of fresh air come September 1st and you don't have to go to your 2nd job anymore (I consider mom work your 1st job) Im so happy for you that you get to quit your restaurant job. It will be a lot less stressful and give you so much more time with your kids and husband when he is home. I am in the same boat as you with vacuums I cant find one that I like and seems to work the way I like. Her reaction is priceless. :-)

I would have loved to have my room redone. You're literally goals🤣 i can't wait to redo my girls room, but they're only 3&4 and still in the toys everywhere phase. And vacuums, I have a Bissell powerforce, it was 60 bucks at Walmart and does great, I have a high shedding dog, 3 cats and 2 kids, and its never let me down lol

I love how it turned out! We have a coffee chain where I live called 7 Brew and it is awesome! So I also hate the stick vacuums and purchased this Eureka Pet Vacuum from Amazon. It works really well IMO (I have 5 cats). It's called the eureka Powerspeed Baglesss upright vacuum cleaner, pet turbo.

I have a dyson ball, dyson v6, shark navigator and a shark irobot… I love them all! But use them for different things. The dyson is the best on the carpet, the sharks hose is the best, the v6 for quick clean ups (like after dinner in the kitchen) and “Nanny” our robot does a daily vacuum that just makes my life a little easier!

You are amazing. I want to do all I can to support you! I have a vacuum that I love soooo much. I've had it for about 5 years and every time I go to use it I'm genuinely excited! The suction is crazy! The carpet head literally pulls you forward! It's the Miele C3 Cat/Dog. It's a little pricey but I promise you, it will change the relationship you have with vacuums and carpets. I swear you won't buy another vacuum anytime soon! If the price scares you at least look into it. Reviews and such. I really think you would like it. ❤️

So cute ! I only slightly re did my daughters room once (im a crazy professional organizer ....she’s a bit messy) she was pretty ok with it (she’s now 32) Yours looks so so much better !

Omg! I’ve never heard of anyone else who hates talking on the phone! Me too! I don’t know why your stuff isn’t coming up on my feed, although I’m subscribed. My daughter has Agreeable Grey everywhere. BTW, I redid a room for my 7 year-old granddaughter with bunk beds, dots on the walls, Barbie, a vanity, toys, and I sewed all the curtains around the bottom bunk and the other curtains, too. She LOVES it, but I’m always transitioning. Any thoughts on a desk/vanity or a Barbie house cover that looks nice? I have sone ideas, and already made a bunch of things myself. Kinda proud if it! Every time she comes over, she tells me she loves it and loves me! Lol! Can’t beat that! Are you in your basement or garage when you’re stripping that dresser?

I got a cordless vacuum and it kinda sucks for anything other than crumbs so I just use it in the kitchen about 7 times a day because my kids are always eating lol. I still like my other Shark Rocket Pet Pro vacuum better. It is a stick but it has a cord so it’s way more powerful. I like the bristle brush roll better than the anti hair wrap too because I feel it just picks up better. Research shark vacuums, I think they are one of the best brands.

I only use a paint gun, because I too hate painting and it literally cuts painting in half. I think you won’t last long not working. Especially, because you thrive when you are busy. It gets boring, but who knows you make love it!! The room turned out great!!

Don't forget to put one of your many tv's in her room with maybe a DVD player. Don't you think she'd like that? I use the latest Dyson vacuum. I like it and I got it on sale at bed bath & beyond.
