You're right. No gel involved here. That's nail glue resin, that's why it's so thick. And this process is what used to be called a nail wrap. It's just an acrylic alternative. They look great !

@@whatfor2002 in the state I live in the process we are taught involved glue resin and a piece of silk fabric for a wrap. It's cool to know there are various methods ☺️

Hi. Do the wraps heal the nails as well

For anyone doing these a few tips: 1. Skip the step that says to swipe over the tip to blend it to the nail. It weakens the hold 2. Rough up the entire nail, tip and blend seem yourself. 3. Wrap the tip when you do each coat. As the glue/gel hardens after the activator it shrinks a little. 4. Do 3 to 4 coats if you're rough on your nails I found these help them last longer

@@whatfor2002 it is basically the same system as dip nails just without the powder. You should be able to use the tips or whole set up for dip nails

"it's gon be abstract" I feel this in my soul.

Back in the day in the 80’s or the 90’s gel was used with a gel activator not always a uv lamp so as long it has an activator its gel girl that gel activator would burn your nails i guess thats why they have the lamp now lol but its still has the heat spike it was a spray activator which made it burn so bad fiberglass was set almost the same way back then the nail game as truly changed drastically! 😘 thank you for sharing

It's not gel though, it's still resin because the accelerator just helped it dry faster. Professional nail techs know that gel has oligamers in it, and resin does not.

I don't do nail art, I just remove my cuticles and use basic nail polishes lol, however I recently fell in love with your channel, it's just sooo relaxing to watch you do such creative things, it's self care+art and those are my two favourite things in the world! ❤ Ps.: your intro always puts a smile on my face

i do the same!! i just paint my nails with basic nail polish, sometimes do a design, and remove my cuticles. i love her channel and i love watching her videos. her videos always make me smile :)

This design turned out so cute! I tried this kit years ago and did not have a good experience with it. I got one use out of it and it only lasted like a day before it came off. I tried this again after having a complete fail the first time around and I will say I did a better job the second time around. I definitely would say have some extra brush on glues, I'm definitely going to try the dip kit to see if I get better results

this is actually really cool! you dont have to use acrylic and the cleaner helps it to smooth it better in case you dont have a nail drill. I think I will buy it so I can use it with longer tips.
