Problem: this falls into the same bin as every other "would be great for disabled people, *but* " product. It's _heinously_ overpriced for us. I struggle with muscle jerks while painting my nails, and often have to go back to clean up overpainting. I don't exactly have an extra $250 to blow on something like this, and if I did... I'd just go to a professional manicurist LOL

@@Menoetia Oh for sure! It's horribly expensive for what it currently does. I guess maybe the thought is that it would be cheaper long term if it actually worked? Might be good for people with social anxiety too. I could never justify the current price and outcome though.

For sure they should rethink this and make it with gel. Instead of a fan it would be a gel led curing lamp! And for sure figure out the finger spacing and scanning.

I was really baffled when they _didn't_ choose gel honestly. But I see why: if the bot messes up regular polish (which i no doubt will) you can clean it up easier...

I was thinking about that too, but with the execution having gel seems kinda 'dangerous' (thinking of allergies and what not). Imagine it getting on your skin or flooding your cuticles and then having the UV cure it... Even with a better painting algorithm it seems a bit iffy using something like gel.

That would be super dangerous because you don’t want uncured gel on your skin nor do you want it curing onto your skin.

The world isn't ready for one of these for gel. It will need to be able to do a perfect application every time from the first use. Gel allergies are nothing to play with. Because once you have developed them you are also allergic to many other things and limits you to certain dental and medical things if they are needed at some point in your life. Great idea though but the concept is too early

Ok. I laughed out loud when I saw the results. I couldn't help but noticed the long piece of lint sticking to two fingernails. Then you put the note about the capsules. This was pure comedy 😂

It's not a new background. Her nail desk was too small so they set up in another room in her house. I guess you missed her saying that.

Dang since 2021!!! I definitely would believe I got scammed. Also don’t no body got time for this. The set up alone sounds like 2 hours. Appreciate the video!!

I remember when u first mentioned it in 2021 it’s so crazy tht u waited this long for this😭 it’s so much more of a hassle than just painting them normally

28:45 the lint, I think it was actually from your prep, your thumb nail has it before you painted it. I’m so glad you do the things before we do so we can see along with you. I love even just listening while doing other things. Thank you so much!!!

I noticed this too, the machine is definitely still highly questionable 😅, but the lint is from the prep it’s probably cotton from cotton rounds or cotton balls

Wow I saw Simplynailogical use the same machine on a livestream and your results were identical 💀 even more discouraging since two different people’s nails went in and came out questionable. Might get better results using an air fryer (and it would take up less space too) 😂

The time it takes really isn’t a selling point for me. We can do gel in just a few minutes. The quality of the paint job isn’t a seller either. :)

The lint is from your polish remover pads! It was stuck to your fingers in some of the shots before you'd put them in the machine. The application still sucked lol but at least the lint wasnt their fault.

It looked like the lint was from you removing the other nails I saw it when you zoomed in you had some on the the thumb before it had ever been painted

I would break a nail trying to get that thing out of the box. Then be so mad about it, that I don't even wanna paint them anymore lol.😂😂😂

I just placed my first order for patty jel I'm so excited to try I'm a newly self taught nail artist iv been doing mine and my daughters an family's for years but just recently started doing other out side of family's and so I'm excited to use urs for all kinds of things to incapacitated flowers to nails to designing and all I love ur videos always watching!!

I remember Christine simply nailogical made a similar video with another robot 5 years ago i guess ( not sure) it was way cheaper and it did a very nice job and didn’t take that much time

It's a no from me, but it was very entertaining to watch you doing it. I grow and paint my own nails, regular polish, no gel. I do my nails once a week, it takes me about 40 minutes to do my usual 5 coats. Base coat, 2x nailpolish, glutter, and top coat. I turn off tv/music and do it in silence, it's therapy PS best thing about the robot was how good that red polish looked on you, even if it was a poor paint job

What's the difference between the practice colors and...regular colors?

That is an awesome step stool for the bathroom for a toddler to step up to be tall and wash their hands. You were so sweet and funny during the demo. There was so much lint or hair in the polish I started wondering, where you stick the food? I'm worried about the poor, stressed-out imp trapped inside the machine named AI that has been losing their fur trying to get 3 coats of polish on nails in 55 minutes. AI must have the shakes for the finish to look so messy. Save the imps!

There is a machine that does your nails in the Charlotte airport. It doesn't use a brush. It uses like a tip and I wonder if maybe that's what something they should fix in this one and that way it won't mess up the cuticles

I think the idea is really cool and honestly if you think about it a normal manicure with regular paint usually takes around that long at a salon. Since you have to paint a layer and wait then paint another layer.

I think we shouldn’t give up yet. Looking at my own hand, I can see how the color between our skin and nail beds look awfully similar. I would try putting a black latex peel off pain on the skin to highlight the nail bed for the machine. I mean you shouldn’t have to do all of that for a machine to actually be able to do it’s intended job but I think it’s worth a try.

I been waiting for a new video I been binge watching all your videos since I been on maternity leave lol I’m like Evie needs to post more often lol 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 I been watching your channel for yrs!

I seen the express manicures at the airport which was about the same size but had a screen above (I don’t think it was attached to the machine just like an iPad or something placed above the machine all contained in a big plastic cover like an atm, I assume it’s so no one steals or ruins anything) It however produced an almost perfect mani in under 30 minutes. There was an assistant helping put the colors in and there to just help the client if need be. I was very pleasantly surprised. They had hundreds of colors and I did a different color on each nail just to compare quality and there was no streaking, definitely no brush hairs, and nothing on my skin. Pretty awesome if you’re waiting for your flight. It looked to be the same type of machine (hard to see since it’s encased) The same hand press came down and same double slots of course it came out way better and it does different people all day so it’s not learning your nails. I think that company was probably trying to replicate the airport ones but failed miserably. That was hard to watch knowing how long you had to wait and wait for something my uncle with Parkinson’s could do. I’d definitely get your money back girl, that bs is gonna collect dust. Thank you ma for always taking the risk on items and testing them so we can get the true real review. 👑 YOU ARE THE BOSS 👑

I would recommend the Kiara Sky gelly tips! I have small nail beds that are pretty flat and they fit great! Only filing I have to do is shaping the cuticle:)
