Oh hey if you ever need that thermal paste the same stuff for computers would probably work. That goes in between the cpu/heatsink. Arctic MX4 is the usual stuff I use. Cheap too compared to getting a new module. Also its worth mentioning don't add too much of it. You want a thin layer or else it'll act as an insulator and not transfer the heat correctly. Probably why they give you so little. As well as clean flat surfaces.

Hi love the channel. We used to run different axels on our stock car in the uk and what we did to change the pcd of the hubs . Bang the studs out and cut them so the splines fill the old holes u can tack weld the back , Set the hub in the lathe and mount a pointed tool at 90 degrees. Find the exact middle, and wind out to the diameter of the new wheel pcd and run the lathe and scribe the diameter on the hub .Then line the new wheel up with the hub line and mark your 5 hole positions ,you can be more accurate on a milling machine but this is less fun. Then drill the 5 holes and go to your wheel stud store fit new studs and tack weld at the rear . Hope this helps I am sure you will come up with a easier solution but if not give it a go . We always used to let problems with vehicles develop to the point of breaking which seams like your way Keep up the good work regards Ian in the uk 😊

that heatsink compound you mention im pretty sure is just thermal paste, its used to greatly improve heat transfer and is commonly used in electronics but has a wide variety of applications as long as it doesn't melt. engineers use it only when necessary so keep that in mind if you have to use it again because its most likely important. dirty thermal paste is less efficient and old thermal paste is terrible if not useless and i believe it is somewhat water repelant because its difficult to wash off. you can find thermal paste at any electronics or computer repair shop.
