    Man you created a revolution! Nice to see people not to get scammed by inspiring them to create their own display cases. Awesome work everyone and nice collections too! I am also building my own and save a lot of time and money which is very valuable to me! Thank you Pop Culture!

    I was going to go modu-rip-off until I found out I needed to wait over a year so I started looking for alternatives and your series is a time saver and most importantly money saver! I am currently building 9 of these, I just got one finished as a proof of concept and it turned out better then I could have hoped. probably saved over $15k and waiting a year or more to display my collection. Thank you Pop Culture!

    I want to make these to display my Harry Potter Lego sets, but I want to be able to view the insides of the buildings. I'm wondering if I can put wheels on this kind of rack? Or do you think those metal kitchen carts that are on wheels could work the same?

  • @PopCultureLivingRoom

    @PopCultureLivingRoom

    I wouldn't put wheels on a garage shelf. They are boltless and require stable ground. How many Harry Potter Lego sets do you have and want to display? A turntable might be a good option. Thanks for watching!

    @@PopCultureLivingRoom did you go with full gloss for the shiny look? And how much approx did the acrylic panels weigh? I’m thinking of doing a full panels on each side rather than each shelf section getting their own panel but I’m afraid it’ll be too heavy for the magnets

  • @PopCultureLivingRoom

    @PopCultureLivingRoom

    6 ай бұрын

    @ExstasinBloopers the acrylic I used is regular acrylic. The glossiness is natural. A sheet of acrylic that is 48"x72"x3/32" weighs approx 12lbs. If You don't feel comfortable with the magnetic tape, you can always use Velcro. There are pros and cons to both magnetic tape and Velcro tape. My prefer the magnetic tape cuz it's easier to take off and put back on. Hope this helps.

    @@AdenOlmstead The acrylic shelf is 1/2" thick. Much thicker than the side panels. I ordered it from amazon but if you have a place near you that specializes in acrylic, you may get a better price. Here is the one on Amazon: amzn.to/4daSDjd

    @@PopCultureLivingRoom Hey Costa, I’m still waiting on the base so they’re done but I can’t start putting my stuff in there because it’s got to be all moved again and this seems like it’s going to be a never ending tinkering project. Now I just pre-ordered the 1/3 scale Howling werewolf from PCS. So talk about rearranging the cabinets without starting. I didn’t get the mirror finish or the clear shelves yet. The black velvet really gets scuffed up and holds lint like mad but have not yet decided what to do till it’s on the base and loaded up. Hope alls well heard about your dog my condolences ( it’s horrible I’ve been there.) didn’t forget to send you photos you have some really cool dudes who have made some beauty’s I just watched the video great stuff. Thanks for all the support Corey! I'll be here ready when you're finished your shelves. I'm sure they're going to look spectacular. The black velvet can be an issue. One of the things I like to use is a lint brush, the ones with the stickers, and use that to clean the velvet. At some point I'll do a video on upkeep. The new statue sounds awesome. I'll have to check it out on PCS's site. Keep in touch. And thanks again!
