I am stunned!! All those nice comments below. I have never seen such shoddy work. Uneven joints. Drawers NAILED together. you had such an array of professional equipment and that was the end product! Sorry but I thought it was terrible

Is the wood really free when it takes this many hours to make it usable? And the quality of the wood is what you paid for it. How much would a nice piece of wood really cost? Imagine what he could do with nice wood and some gel stain?

BRILLANT woodworking and saw skills. Only surprise was the use of too many nails instead of screws in base.I know white oak doesn't expand and contract much, but screws would have been better. The staples in the sliding slats will rust over time in any humid environment. Even if stainless steel staples they will loosen over time no? Having said that I could not have made this project myself. Very well done!
