I’ve been wanting to do something like this but I wasn’t sure shop vac plus dust deputy would have the suction to draw up and then back down. How well has this setup worked for you?
I just saw what I think is your camera pole for your xtool...can you do a video showing us your setup?

Currently I have a dust deputy hooked up to a shopvac.

since you have a wood shop as well as lasers, maybe you'd know the answer to my question. Would a dust collection system work as a laser exhaust? I have a heated 16x20 woodshop framed within a 40x60 shed. The dust collector is in the unheated shed with duct work (pvc) routed into the shop. Would I be able to just connect the laser exhaust to that system?

Absolutely not. One little ignited piece of lasered wood would light your shop up like a fireball.
