DIY Battery Box
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I decided to keep the battery that came with the bike instead of buying a new/smaller one. By keeping the old one, I can save a few bucks and have some chopping content for you guys.
Like always, thanks for watching and don't forget to like comment and subscribe!

haha thort I was seeing things. Another vid so soon. I feel spoilt and special.
Dude, duck tape, and cardboard. The fabricator's best friends. Much respect for low budget tools, yielding better results {IMO} than high dollar CAD programs .. 1-off custom designs from a garage? That's what our addiction is about.
2 LNSPT vids in 2 days?! Great shit as always🤙 Can't wait to see it run for EDR
"Not the prettiest"...are you kidding? That came out great!
Your neighbors must be thrilled with all the grinding lately lol
Put some foam or another type of insulator under the battery. Will extend the battery life for sure due to dampening of vibrations.

Or better yet, put a mix of ball bearings and screws as that will add more sound effects and Fits inline with the anti performance theme of the bike.

Nice and simple 👍
great looking job ,,,,, well done . Plus you get the satisfaction of saying " I built it " when they ask you " where'd you get that ? " .. That's what it's all about .
I’ve said before you do Great Work! You are Precise yet can FREE HAND (which I Suck At!) Well Done Sir!
That batt box came out killer with the swooped sides instead of just straight across. It’s cool man and with just 7or 8 left you gotta keep cranking. Peace out!
Quality job Mr. LNSPLT! Good fab skills brother! Thanks for two vids in two days man and stay safe out there!
Thanks for showing us how you cut the curve with the grinder! Great technique, patience is key!
Perfect timing. Was gonna build a battery box for my Shadow this weekend and this is a great template
"not the prettiest" so humble lol. i can tell you i've seen waaaay worse battery boxes than that, my dude!
Super cool!! Well done!
Awesome Job Son
Well done. And one of a kind.
Great battery box build, you always make it look so easy!! 😬🔧
Grat job looking like its really coming along can't wait to see what's next
literally just worked on building a box for my shadow today. Hilarious! great work!
You're killing it ! Awesome video !!
You are the man. Nice show 👍
Amazing attention to detail! Take care, all!
Nice work, man. When I built my battery box, I used some 2 inch angle iron from Lowes. I used my battery as a jig when I made my marks to cut and to weld the pieces together. Pretty much went with the same design as you did with the clamp. Your's looks perfect for your build.
Great work simple and nice and does the job.
Very well done. Simple and effective. Kinda did the same thing on my blue sporty build. I just used thicker material that I had laying under my bench. You may want to consider another anchor point such as maybe frame due the vibration from that hardtail set up and shitty roads because that is a heavy battery and a lot of stress on those mounting bolts. Always love the videos . You guys have almost single-handedly inspired a whole new generation of garage builds and sharing of ideas, that's pretty cool in my book !! Ride safe. Guy Speight
I LOVE that workbench more and more every time you use it!!

Haha it’s purpose built
Great video , and cool to see how you used the magnetic tool to support welding , , you have great stylish vids which are always too cool for skool , brilliant !!
Those two side pieces ... next time chuck them in a vice and cut them both the same time and grind the curve together to get a matching fit! Thanks for all the great content!
Looks great 👍🏼
You brother are inspiring me to build up a scooter man I really appreciate laspltbulvd thanks
Muy buenas ideas !! No me canso de ver tus videos.
Really enjoying your aesthetic and skills. Giving me lots of ideas for my own bike, and admire how you make the fab work look simple. I know it’s not, and takes hours of thinking and research before you commit with that grinder!
Como disfruto con vuestros videos además tomar grandes ideas!! Ánimo y seguir así !!!
Love ya work brother
Looks bad ass man 👌🏼
Very Nice!
Well done 👍
looking good man.
Clean😁👌
Great vid .Great content
Loving the background tunes
Good workmanship, but for me i don,t see much point in have clamp system like that as you cannot remove battery with the box insitu and also i would have run strap across the battery instead of length wise less chances of metal strap shortening the battery terminals. Great vids...
Nice dude! 👍
Fixkin kooooolll!!!!
Killin it as always 🙌

EDR OR BUST! AYYYY
I want to know if that shovel yung had is still running? That thing is a beast. You guys all have cool bikes I wish that vibe existed in Pennsylvania.
I need a new batt box for my dodge truck... can you do another video please ? J/k thanks for the instructions, you always show helpful ways to get things accomplished 🧐
oustanding job
You need a plasma cutter. It would make fabrication so much easier than using a grinder to cut out shapes.
Excelente saludos amigo desde maracaibo venezuela🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒
My stock battery is huge!
Nice brother...👍👍👍👍 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Litty like a kitty
custom!! 🤘😎🤘
Hey Lin... what is the thickness of the sheet metal you used? Love your work! also 100K is coming up soon! Silver Plaque soon! Congrats for all the hard work. Question: did you forget to drill draining holes or you left it so on purpose?
battery "LNSPLTBLVD"? very funny )))
How did you get the bike up on the workstand
love from malaysia🇲🇾
Did you use the exact same dimensions as the battery or leave a little extra space so the battery can sit in there? Awesome job as always!
chopping tools check list: 2x angle grinders Asian broom
What did you do about the bolts sticking through the bottom of the box? Cause if it's sitting on the bolt heads it's more than likely to wear a hole in the battery, which isn't good. Quick and dirty answer is a piece of ply thicker than the bolt heads, with holes drilled to clear the bolt heads.

yup, theres a plywood + rubber mat to absorb the vibration. But I'm thinking of changing up the battery and getting something smaller now.
what metal is it ?
Nice video, very useful, what do you use for welding?

Do you sell those welding hood stickers?
Are you going to paint the bike? It looks cool in raw metal. Great vid.
I ! great job, but i asked myself a simple question : wich welding machine are you using ?

Definitely keep the battery, it's a LNSPLTBLVD brand.😂
Good job, but what if it rains?

dc current is far less dangerous than ac current, you can still arc off but it requires far more amperage and voltage to do so and straight non salinated water is alot less conductive than people think
WHERE DID the bottom bracket come from that's tacked on the bike already?

You're going to run fenders????
I will have folded the edges for the top leg
Nice work maybe a little bit of rubber padding inside to cut the vibration and make a tighter fit.

Surely you can build something heavier and more bulky. It would go better with your anti performance ridged bikes that you guys try to tour. Lol.
