So impressed... The pewter green is very classy and timeless - I wouldn't have thought of going that dark in a bathroom but it absolutely works!

This looks incredible!!!! one could imagine this costing $1500 and up to get custom made. Thank you for this fantastic idea I will be doing this with my contractor for a 1930s vacation house/office I am renovating and I will share this video with everybody who comments or asks about it!

Those faucets are so neat! I can't believe this is accomplished for around $100 😃 my husband and I have been setting up pens for our dairy goats, shelters, electric fencing, and so forth. Making chicken tractors for the girls, and for mother's day he ordered me some blue slate turkeys which we will need to build a shelter for also. There's so many projects here as I'm sure everyone can relate to (more projects than you'd like Lol) But I'm ready to get started on our home now!

How long did the paint last since you used a color sample?

Hi Donna. It's still going strong and easy to wipe down (SW is heavier bodied and has a little more sheen than other brands). If you have the extra money in the budget cabinet paint is a plus, but because this was raw wood I thought it would adhere just fine without chipping. If I were repainting though, I would choose a cabinet paint :)

I think you could have replaced with full overlay face frame hinges rather than notch out the face frame

Just an FYI....the paint samples are not actual paint and should be topcoated for durability. It says that right on the container

Hi Nancy - blogging and making DIY videos is very time consuming, and working with companies is just one way that helps to compensate for that work. As much as I truly enjoy being creative and sharing ideas, it's also my job. This is what allows me to stay home with my children and homeschool, which I am so incredibly thankful for. I understand your frustration, I don't particularly enjoy watching commercials either - but when I see content creators with advertisements I understand that not everyone can donate their time and creativity and labor for free. It's a job that helps support my family and I feel very blessed to have that option. Hope that clarifies a different perspective.
