DIY : 3D Illusion Geometric Wooden Wall Art / Reclaimed wood wall art / Wall Accent / Wood Art

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

it is very fun to make 3D illusion wood art and I am sure you will like to try this after you watch this video.
This wall art made of reclaimed wood features an abstract geometric art of trapezoid in golden oak, white, and dark walnut that complement shabby-chic-inspired design themes. The simple, geometric design and square frame of this wall art blend well with modern-style theme settings. Distressed colors and finishes that add a distinct rustic vibe to interior design themes.

I would use it as a charcuterie board or maybe a cutting board.

Really nice project and video. Can you tell me at what length to you put the 'stop block' on the miter saw. It looks like 2 3/8 inches. Am I close to being correct? Thanks again.

you are correct but the key is to match red and blue line in 56 seconds video mark. you should cut few pieces to test first . thanks for watching.

How big is the backer board you put your trapezoids on? I'm guessing 16x16"

I have followed all of the steps in the video but I can't get the pairs to match up. Length is 2 3/8" on the short side and 4" on the long side. The pieces seem to be too long. Thoughts?

I was having the same problem but then watched the video again. The crucial part is that the hypotenuse (angular side) has to be the same length as the short side. I ripped my stock down to 1.5" wide then I made both the hypotenuse and short side 1.75 inches. I hope this helps you!
