Hi thank so much for watching. In making this I really had no direction, but to see what would work best. I definitely learned a lot with this backdrop making so many mistakes along the way. I made it in two half days. Both were in over 100 degree days and so the heat did get to me some, lol. But I am glad I was able to show the process and hopefully this will give you some tips for what not to do lol. In all honesty I don't mind showing the mistakes as I know it may help that one person to avoid trouble or it will help that one person figure out a way to fix a mistake. Well thank you for watching me build the single 3d arch. And if you have any questions please just let me know. Good luck and thank you for your support purchasing the plans on our Etsy store Maker Decor.

If you have access to a router, you can slightly oversized your panels and then run a router to get a flush cut 👍🏼👌🏼

Question: do you have to cut in half can you do as whole piece. I like the seamless look

If you cut the 2 pieces together they should match in the front and back. If not then your bent pieces may just not be 90 degrees

Yes you are correct. The issue here is the bending of the hardboard tempered panel. To get an accurate bend around the wrap, would require more of the blocks to follow along the curve. Then the bent hardboard tempered panel would follow exactly across the top and bottom more accurately. But I try to have the least amount required to create my backdrops. Every little bit starts to add up in the end and then these backdrops just become to heavy for one person to transport over and over safely. So that is the reason I went with less blocks wrapping around the border. I am ok with cutting the outer border later if I can save anything on the weight. Thanks for watching and commenting. I love your channel you do great work!

Hi, I believe you are referring to the material bent around the edge. It has a couple of names but you can find at Home Depot called Hardboard Tempered Panel. Good luck!

Hi, since I received a lot of requests to make this build seperate where the back wall can be removable. I have decided to rebuild this and include it in the plans. I will begin making it next week and the video should be up next week. Thank you

lol, for sure the video looks more complicated than it is. Most of my plans are broken down to a simple 15 or so steps depending on the build. Thanks for watching!
