Thank you so much for the kind words! We make money by working seasonal jobs or just stop in cities to work when we're low on funds. We try to live frugally so we can be on the road longer

Yeah I actually went to high school with him back in the day. We had an art class together, back then I noticed he had a pretty cool creative spark, but it looks like he has developed that talent nicely since then.

Haha 😂 she moved into the van when she was a kitten and we slowly built up trust with her. First she was leashed, now she free roams but we have a Bluetooth tracker in case we can't find her. She stays close! She doesn't get the zoomies inside too much, although she has A LOT of energy when it's a rainy day

All of our windows open, the fan always brings in a breeze! On warm days we try to park in shade and put up reflectix, it's usually quite a bit cooler inside than out!

looks like based on your instagram you have been in the van since February? Based on the tour and interview, it sounded like you had been living this way for quite a while…maybe I missed it, but how long have you been living in a van?

I love the life of freedom. However, where does one go to the bathroom, or where is the shower? And how does one make any money with this lifestyle? Just a few things I couldn't do without...

We pay for a campsite maybe once a year, we stay in public land, national forests, etc- and always try to leave places better than we found them!

The only thing I’d change about the video would be to cover up the license plate for their safety.

To be fair, personal investment is the difference between a job and a career. They had jobs. You have a career. I'm sure you have contributed to your career with an expectation that it will repay you in the form of a comfortable retirement. For many, that is no longer a viable consideration. A sad reality.

How do you earn money to support yourselves? Most people I know who van full-time are retired. Are you independently wealthy?

You don't have to be retired to live this life. I work as a substitute teacher during the school year, live out of my SUV and sell jewelry and other craft items at the Flea Market and have more money in savings now than I did when I was working a full-time job.
