You deserve better and pray, pray for guidance and wisdom because: ‘beware of the du’aah from an oppressed person’ make du’aah (and not for revenge etc) but for a way out of this mess that suits you both because you bothered deserves happiness. Kindly need an advice, I have been married for 16yrs now and blessed with 4 children mashallah. But from day one i have been the bread earner and taking all the responsibilities of the kids and myself. My husband has never paid my dowry( mahar), and now am tired of this kind of life. Especially from his laziness not minding to find a job. I had to leave my children and come overseas to work for my kids but life isn't that simple. I asked for divorce but he denied, what should i do? Right now we don't even have a home as i cant afford rent anymore and taking care of the kids. So even when i go back in vaccation i stay with my sister where my kids are and he is at his father's home. Please kindly advice. Jazakallahu khair

Unilateral divorce by wife It's allowed, right?

This will sound stupid i know But 6 months ago i got a arranged marriage from Pakistan and i mainly did it for the sake of my parents. At first it was fine we were happy with each other even tho we only knew each other a few months, but i came back to the UK in June and things were still fine a couple of months down the line, i started working and didn't really have much time to talk to her ect and then she told her family and which they told mine and from there it went down hill for me, like yes fair enough im to blame but shouldn't she be talking to me about all that? Now further down the line at this point now I'm not happy in the marriage i know its very early to decide but when you have that feeling inside you that it won't work you know, (only some will understand) But now she's excusing me of all sorts, meeting women when i dont, always have time for my friends which again i dont, im either working or sleeping. I've spoke to my family and they're thinking about a divorce. I know divorce should be the last option, but really and truly, you can't force anything that isn't there if you get me? Sorry for the rant just had to get it off my chest.

I no longer can bare this relationship. When I tell my decision to my mom,she says have sabr.i had sabr for 7 year.i can't take it anymore .i don't know what to do. Should I think of my mom and society or should I think about myself?

Salaam alaykum sister, May Allah ease your worries and keep you steadfast in his deen ameeen. Pray istikhara many times, increase your ibaada, pray tahajjud and ask Allah swts help and to clear your heart and mind, to purify your heart, listen to more Islamic lectures about marriage, and then talk it out with him on how you can fix your marriage, go through Islamic marriage counselling, that is if he’s interested in fixing your marriage, if none of it works and you’ve already thought all the consequences once you divorced then no matter what other people feel or think, as long as it’s within shariah and you tried everything, there’s nothing wrong with you choosing what’s best for yourself, your mental health and the mental health of your children. If you stay and have sabr and it’s not affecting your deen negatively then you get more good deeds from Allah azzawajal, but if you can’t have sabr anymore and it’s affecting your deen negatively, it’s not haraam for you to prioritize your deen over staying in a toxic relationship. May Allah swt give you peace in your heart and mind, make you get through this test soon and make you both steadfast in his deen ameeen

I am happily divorced, it took me a while to get over him and to move on but it’s better, no drama no stress, and 3 years later: with 2 young son’s, I do my nikk’aah on Thursday Subhan’Allaah to a fully practising brother. You have to know what you want. Bid him farewell you deserve so much better

Well in my case. He just left and Is busy getting to know others even while we married and during iddah. And is lowering his gaze for me who is his wife that's under iddah. But his busy with crazy things and not lowering his gaze for others. What's the logic in that?

Slmz ...im divorce for a month now..and my husband have me the talaq over the phone 3times ..e was very very angry at that moment ..bt after he cut the call e regrets it alot ...we still Wana work our Marriage out ...e didn't mean it ...we speak everyday on the phone...I'm staying with my mum for the 3months and e is living with his family ...I want to know after the 3months period can we make nikah again ..we also registered English way too ...I married into Islam ...so I don't know much ...I was a non Muslim before....so many people is telling me different stories abt how this works ...I need help honestly...we still love each other and want to be together ... because of this lock down is South Africa we can not go see the moulana ...help desperate

Why did they divorce if marriage is such an important issue plus if you have adab you can overcome all issues, if you really want to. And when people divorce usually the reasons are all related to lack of adab and akhalaq

Where does Allah say he dislikes divorce? Surely it depends on case by case basis. Sometimes it's wajib other times it can be disliked.

I'm a Muslim woman. My husband haven't divorce me he left us 2 years now for multiple women and living a wild lifestyle haven't taking care of his son allows his women to disrespect me he as well threatened my life and i give him no problem whatsoever . I have always been a faithful loyal wife only thing i do was talk to him about his infidelities and he disrespected me for the hold 7 years of marriage how do i get a divorce from him i need to move on when Allah send a good God fearing husband

A real Muslims/devoted to God figure loves another motivated by God , hates a God hater ,marry according to God laws divorce who violated God boundaries any thing beside that attitude is gate to hell and its tool called hypocrit.

No i dont like divorce.. Mary for happiness to complete each others not for noisy like fire.. Allah make different people and heart for one unity and can not separate.. If u can love and mary why decide divorce..its not like tht. If hv be noisy after mary its like salt and sugar.. So no problem bcause its make more close and romance ☺😚 i love to see him if angry but more love if not angry.. Its 2 side between bad and good i will accepted bcause i love him. I'm never getting involve in marriage. Alhamdulillah marriage is not the only way to Jannah. Seems the muslim ummah don't guard marriage always talaq. By Allah I wish to stand in front of Him on the day of judgment accounting of myself no one else, of course my parents but never a wife nor children. The sins in marriage are more severe. Alhamdulillah may Allah continue making me strong aganist zinna, Amin. Not demolarizing anyone I speak on my own acct. If u wat to take a chance go ahead may Allah guide you.

Swaleh Feroz that’s just a childish response to someone that doesn’t fully practice his deen, YOU HAVE TO GET MARRIED, Allaah swt commanded it, read the ayahs and hadiths (sahih and bukhari) regarding this. There are many divorces due to ego’s, stupidity, naf’s, always wanting to be ryt and not knowing how to treat one another but miscommunication is the biggest problem in marriage. Or interfering parents and in-laws but marriage is something you have to work at, and is half of your deen so: Fear Allaah swt because you don’t and think you know better

my brother swaleh feroz I want to remind you marriage is fulfilling half your deen and that's the first benefit secondly IBM mas'ud may Allah be pleased with him said if I was to have 10 days remaining to be alive I would get married and the benefit here is that you will save yourself from fitnah and this time we are living too much fitnah it's only Allah help we seek thirdly I will remind you our beloved prophet swallahu alleihi wassallam will boost to others yaumul qiyammah by the large group of his ummah and that will happen if you get married brother...let the sunnah go forth and don't stop it with your weak opinion ( forgive me for the mistakes that's from me and shaitan , Allah and His messenger are free ...peace

Brother, one of the wishes of Prophet Muhammad PBUH is to have the the biggest ummah during the day of judgment. He encourages us to have as many children as possible. Have them follow Islam. Everything will come to an end and when it does. May Allah allow your childrens' good deeds will raise your stature in heaven. Its simple multiplication math. 😁
