Oh boy, this has taken a while. About a month, really. Good timing too, since today (the 27th of May,) is my Birthday. So why not give back this time around.
So, I got my Reshade back up on Trainz, and of course, around that time, @SudrianRails and @KiwiConductor 's Hybrid Gordon model was released on their Patreon. So, I decided to join it, and looking at the model in detail, I decided to make a video using it. Not only that, though, I decided to do a double-feature.
Also a change is more visual effects, mainly steam effects. Those of you who know me well know most of the time I've used some of my own steam effects in SFM (or some old smoke generator stuff I filmed years ago.) I've finally bit the bullet and went and grabbed some third-party effects, and this video became a sort of a test as to how well I can utilize them.
Now, I do have another video in the works, but that won't come out until Late July (I think you all might be able to guess what the video is for if you are aware of the event at Tywyn that is gonna happen at that time period.)

The detail of the water in Gordon's boiler moving to the front (exposing the firebox crown sheet) was a nice touch of realism.

Gordon going through a bit of a Lord Harry moment to an extent, with his name arch being taken away
The detail of both drivers asking the fireman to drop the fire was a very nice detail (especially when you realize that Thomas doesn’t really have a safety valve). Really good adaptation of the two stories into one! And love the use of the hybrid models! The sound effects are also really good and realistic too! Just a gear video overall!
If there's one thing Gordon hates it's trucks. He shares that in common with James.
I admire the direction here in which you take your time with your scenes so that I can appreciate the realistic movement and feel of the trains. Your choice of music and sound design are splendid as well. Fantastic work!
Wasn't expecting some hybrid forms of Henry and Gordon. Neat job on the creators' part. 👍 Gotta love the creative ways you've given Gordon and Thomas's separate accidents. All that's missing is the laughter of freight cars during the latter incident, maybe a "Bye, bye" a la _Chicken Run._ 😜 The stripping of Gordon's nameplates adds an extra layer of humiliation. As if being forced to pull freight cars until further notice wasn't bad enough... Now he has to _earn_ those plates back. Something tells me you were inspired by Carson's adaptation of "Light Work" to put in that last piece of music. 😉 Can't wait for the sequel: "Queens and Leaves"! 😁 Also, happy birthday! 🥳

They never revel who runs Thomas’s branch line while he’s in disgrace - although I assume Toby
"OPEN THAT BLOWDOWN VALVE !" "TURN THE BLOWDOWN ON !" Huh, I guess we could've called this Blowdown as well. Guess being in disgrace is not the only thing both engines share here.
You have successfully managed to make both Thomas and Gordon‘s incidents actually intense that it makes me feel like I’m watching a movie. Like holy shit it’s incredible 👀
You are just getting better and better at this! Henry slipping as he started at 3:42 was a beautiful touch.

Wow, fantastic one, I love your put together for two from S1 episodes, Off the Rails and Down the Mine is an excellent idea in one, it's too bad to have a Paint Pots and Queens in the finale story and I like how the Driver stops Thomas in the middle at the mine and collapses is an fantastic idea instead of moving forward from the Original series, very looked forward for more stories soon and I love it!

A fantastic job on this double connecting story here. It's been awhile since we seen your adaptation or any Trainz video on here. I didn't mind. I think it's great to see other content besides your adaptation and such in Trainz. Wonder if you'll do Paint Pots and Queens next or in the future? But that's another story for another time. Anyways fantastic work on this. And I hope you have a happy birthday on your end!
Great video ..... The realistic sounds of the locomotives plus the ambient soundtrack , for example "Who framed Roger Rabbit?" (8:23) .... Is a nice touch or adittion to the atmosphere. Happy birthday , greetings from Argentina.

So much dopamine when you upload. The little details are what I love the most: the realistic engine models, the blow down valves, all that creaking Gordon does after his accident 😂, THE ROGER RABBIT MUSIC (one of my favorite films) and I always love Studio Ghibli! Not to mention the cinematography. Lovely vid once again!

Blow down is a quick steam release valve that allows for cleaning on the road while running it’s used for cleaning out any debris and ash and releases a large amount of steam in the process so if they dropped the fire and pulled the blow down I suppose it could keep from a possible explosion

@@patronstdenial5195 no On American locomotives it releases from a separate pipe sometimes near the cylinders sometimes under the cab it depends on the locomotive maker and the makers choice of where it goes
