    Listen to everything he says he consulted with the family. Then he says that he contacted her about his decision afterwards. This is her only child we're talking about. People of color please really understand why he's giving this sweet speech. He is wrong he's just trying spinning his narrative/story. He wants to keep his job. After the fact that he gave this fella a sweet deal. He got less time than some so-called drug dealers. C'mon man. He's a crafty vote him out.🤔🤫

My thing is this if I were that judge I would have said no we not doing that 25 years to life is what is needed. How you follow a white car and loose it then follow another take his life then say sorry. Bro no sorry fuck that you need to be in jail since day one. If they were black officers you already know what would have happened.

    No, that parts not weird. It’s like going to the casino or buying a lottery ticket, you know there’s almost no chance of winning but you’re willing to do so if it only cost you a couple dollars. That’s how quart room is in reverse. That’s why innocent people play guilty all the time. Innocent Black people and innocent white people. What sucks to me is that I don’t know if the cop deserve to go to prison or not. I haven’t filed this case closely at all, but I know for a fact that often when criminals run they try to scare a cop off with their gun. They either hold it in their hand to scare the cop off from chasing them, or they pointed behind them while they are running away to scare the cop even more, and sometime even fire their gun back at the cop which really scares the cop and stops them from chasing the criminal. The surveillance camera It’s so blurry and horrible that we don’t know if the criminal pointed a gun at a cop or not. I think there is a lot of police misconduct that we have a problem with in this country, and there’s a huge lack of accountability. Especially 10 years ago and further back. But I also see cases where cops are unfairly targeted by viral videos and accused of all kinds of crap. There’s tons of examples of this. One of the most blatant examples is when a black woman said that she was sexually assaulted by a white cop touching her everywhere in her general areas, black activist were in an uproar but thank God the cop had his body camera on from before he ever contacted the woman, throughout the entire incident, throughout the entire drive, throughout every minute he was in the jail with her, until he walked out of the jail. He never came close to touching her in anyway that was inappropriate. Once the body camera footage came out then the woman tried back stepping and saying she never made those accusations against him, she does talk to family and family made those accusations against him. Guess what kind of trouble the woman got into that initiated those false accusations that spread all those videos about this man online? Nothing. She got in no trouble whatsoever. The system isn’t perfect. If a cop made accusations up about a black woman that I want that cop fired and prosecuted. And if the cop wasn’t then they would say it was about a racist system or whatever. And I do think the system is affected by racial bias. But not everything that happens to a black person is about race.

    Black Judge accepts prosecutor plea deal...... If the Judge feels that the plea bargain is not appropriate for whatever reason, the Judge will inform the defendant that the plea is not accepted by the Court. At this point, the defendant has the option of continuing with the guilty plea, or changing the plea to “not guilty.” If the defendant decides to proceed with the guilty plea, the Judge will decide on what the sentence will be. If the defendant elects to please not guilty, then the process will begin to move the case to a trial.

  • @Travistyj
    @Travistyj Жыл бұрын

    there's a few points that need to be made here, if the situation was reversed it would have been a black cop shooting a armed white man who had a gun and was fleeing... Realistically he probably would be getting in less trouble then this white cop is for shooting a armed black man simply because white police officers are getting crucified for justified shootings.. now by justified I do not mean morally correct but the fact that anyone is sitting here saying he should have been tased is completely ignorant to the fact of reaction time and how fast it is because you can't prepare for it and you're always on the losing end because the person who decides to take a gun and shoot first is going to get the first shot off and police officers know this and it's protocol that they have to basically be drawn upon before they do anything about it which is already putting them in a disadvantage.. I feel for this poor lady you can hear her pain and it made me cry watching this.. it's tragic but facts are facts and he had a gun he did not drop it and he was running... It's just beyond common sense at this point that doing that is going to get you killed.. it doesn't matter what color you are... The man was a criminal and this is what happens to criminals when they choose to brandish firearms in the company of police and then not comply... There isn't an argument to be had here otherwise everything everybody is saying is benign and doesn't matter everyone has an opinion but the facts are facts and opinions are not facts, I myself am a criminal at least have a criminal rap sheet I was unjustly charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon when my weapon was not even discharged nobody was hurt and I pulled my weapon out just to diffuse the situation and that situation was someone aggressively pulling a blade out and coming at me... So I understand the disdain for our legal system because it's terrible, I'm also not a fan of police that doesn't change that most of them are good but every interaction I've had with the police the last thing I'm going to do is not comply, and pull out a gun, and then not drop it when being confronted by law enforcement... Stop trying to defend this man he made his decisions and his decisions are known across the world.. even to small children.. that doing that is going to get you killed, he wasn't a victim.. what's truly twisted here... is that the man who was shot and killed is actually responsible for ruining everybody's lives in that courtroom, his decisions is what caused this to happen not the responding officer who shot a person who had a gun and was not complying... How does nobody see this? is everybody just in their own feelings to a point where they're blind as well?? As sad as this is people need to stop pointing fingers at everybody who's involved in the situation except the man who was shot and killed.. everything is his fault here,. His mother's pain is his fault, if he would have just made the correct decisions in life or since he wasn't at least not do the one thing that's going to for surely get you killed, but he chose to do that so he chose to put his family and friends through this and now that guy who was a police officer a shitty one or not, his life is also ruined because of that man's decisions... This world is losing their minds and is always looking to blame somebody that's not actually at fault these days to make themselves feel better... All of this pain all of this fallout falls upon the man who was shot and killed, all of this is his fault and for anybody who wants to sit here and say otherwise.. well that is your opinion and your opinion doesn't matter because it's not factual, facts matter not opinions..

    I just have one question. How was this plea deal the best thing for the state of Tennessee! When a Grand Jury convicted to charge the officer. (Double Talk) I'll wait.....😶. Stop with the Eloquent Speeches about about what someone is trying to do. Just do it!!! Actions Speak Louder Then Words....🙌🏼❤🙏🏼

    I wish I was there I would ask him if that was your child who would have made that decision? I don't think so if Ham brick would have allowed him to get 3 years. I hope they vote this DA and Judge out of office. Well he was released after doing less than his time given.

    How can this murderer get away with a pathetic 3yr sentence??? Because he's a Cop, that's why. He was RUNNING AWAY..... This is such a miscarriage of Justice and I find it abhorrent. The Law protects their own no matter what the charges, they always receive a slap on the wrist instead of the appropriate sentence as would be given to a member of the public!!!!! US Cops are a law unto themselves and it's disgusting 🤬

    Right he had a gun in his hand he did not need to get shot in the back if he's unarmed but he could of had a second one nobody would know that when he stopped he could of shothim in the leg he would of fell and dropped the gun or he could of kept his gun on him in case Daniel might of tried to shoot him

    This guy never should have agreed to this without the families blessing. It looks like somone got to this guy he fought for 3 years and at the last minute overnight he made a decision that is insanely ridiculous. This man i think is crooked and somone one the other side got to him
