Dissolving the Pain Body: Is It Truly Possible? - Eckhart Tolle Explains

Eckhart Tolle addresses the intriguing question of whether it is possible to fully dissolve the pain body. He emphasizes the importance of awareness, non-identification, and acceptance in dealing with an active pain body. Eckhart Tolle suggests that embracing the present moment and using challenges as opportunities for deepening presence can lead to the effective dissolving of the pain body over time. This video offers valuable insights into transforming emotional pain through acceptance and awareness.
According to Eckhart Tolle, the pain body is a product of the ego, and the way to separate your true self from the ego is to observe it, learn more about how to dissolve the pain-body here: bit.ly/learnaboutpainbodyYT

Whenever the pain body arises in the human mind one ought to remain consciously aware of it in the moment and observe it for what it is because the moment you start analytically identifying with it it'll draw you in and start to feed off you. Hence, whenever my pain body arises, I see it as if I'm sat in front of a small camp fire looking at the flames burning, and as long as I am not adding fuel to the fire it'll eventually burn itself out. Thanks Eckhart.🙏

As Michael Singer would say... From the seat of the soul... Just observe. Things come and they go. Nothing in life continues on unless you drag it into the present moment. Even when your house burns down it doesn't keep burning. Just observe as things come and go. "Relax and release".

More we meditate more clarity comes to our essence, we get beyond the analytical mind, which created out false sense of self ,, what we then Identified as being Us. Thoughts are combination of emotions and past experiences, empty vessels at first until we energize and give meaning to it. The true act of meditation is connecting to a deeper higher dimension which separates us from body and mind identification and connects us to our True self, which is infinite source, infinite love, wisdom and abundance that we all are. Much love to you all! Not analyzing rather developing the presence with the source which then starts to lead every aspect of our lives in the best possible way, once we remove our so called self out of the way and we start to trust the process,, everything becomes effortless afterwards, that's the true miracle, being aligned with our higher self. ❤‍🔥

That's how it is❤ it's the only choice we have.✨ As far as I'm concerned I'm not interested in making my pain body disappear, because NOW I know that I'm not that. It can stay there if it want, it doesn't bother me, I just don't have any interest in it anymore. I'm not in love with it anymore.😂 I don't know what else will happen to me in life, everything will happen as it has already happened and as it happens to everyone. I leave it in the attic, I know it's there and that's fine but I also know that it can no longer blackmail me or scare me. We are practically separated at home.😁 We will still argue every now and then but our love story is over FOREVER.🤣 What a liberation! So grateful 💓🙏✨✨✨✨🌺

4:45 You are most powerful when you bring acceptance to whatever arises this moment. It requires alertness. This is not passive. It is uncompromising and active yes to what is. It's also passive gesture of allowing. This combines the polarity of active presence and passive allowing. Spaciousness surrounding the pain body. If you pursue the why, it leads to more why's. The pain body functions within our imagination. We don’t sense where it’s coming from. At one point I could not take its persistent pressure anymore and I put my head back and screamed Noooo you will not! With much intent, and a booming voice of awareness I did this, silently inside my head. At that moment I became thoughtless and quiet. This was the beginning for me. That showed me what I’m dealing with. Two me’s. The knower and the imagination. I now can emotionally sense my pain body wiggling thru my imagination into my mind or even just my egoic nature kicking in with judgement, narrative, or what ifs. Anxiety. And the Knower yells Get back! And it retreats immediately, and I am present. This is how I must do it bc my imagination and pain body were such an active part of my life. Sensing the Knower in yourself immediately upon ordering the imagination to Get back is a key part of it. I hope this helps someone else as it has helped me. I am just at the start of my awakening. If you feel negative emotions especially for no apparent reason try summoning your will and command it Nooo or Get back! Give your knower a voice. This is the day your power speaks.

The main problem is that an external authority such as Eckhart isn’t going to really help you find a satisfying answer as to how to heal and understand your pain and problems. Order imposed from without must always produce disorder. As Krishnamurti says: “why are you asking another? Don’t you want to find out for yourself? If i were to give you an answer, you would either accept or refute it, both of which would impede intelligence.”

You’ve read it and heard it a hundred times, but when thoughts arise- stop and watch… just consciously coming into bright and luminous presence eliminates the thought for a split second while you do it. Another chance to watch the thought flood back in, which it will. So become present again and repeat. In time, you’ll discover that there’s something observing this process, and at some point you’ll discover that whatever appears before the ‘something observing this process’ comes and goes. And eventually you’ll discover that there’s a constant background holding all appearances, including the idea of being a person. And now the illusion starts to melt like vanilla ice cream on a hot day. You’re not doing any of this, it’s pure being remembering itself, so just relax, be vigilant when thoughts sneak out to play, sit back and watch everything unfold in its own time, which it always will- as long as ‘you’ have no interest in the outcome 🙏

Try to write a diary for example where you write down what youve learned today and practice self love and meditation on a regular basis, try to give you enough time for it, time for yourself and know that its more than well spent.

When I feel heaviness in the heart, tightness in the stomach…, I just sit still in a place where nobody disturbs me, my meditation room if possible, give my full yet relaxed attention to the area - heart, stomach, etc . - and sometimes in my mind, I also say ” I love you, I accept you” to this area in a loving and gentle way. The energy typically releases after a while, you can literally feel the release in your body and sometimes it may even come out as a hiccup. In any case, you will feel the lightness once it’s gone. What Eckhart talked about is not just mental, but something you can experience at physical level, whether you call it surrender or acceptance. As you release more and more, you will experience certain emotion less and less. This is an age and time when emotional energy could become more intense. Instead of treating it as a pain or nuisance, utilize it as a way to speed up energy releasing and healing. Wish you all the best.

To love yourself you have to be able to forgive yourself, whatever was and whatever will come. With self love comes a strong sense of awareness of everything around you. Try to practice self love everyday, its a process and not a sudden recognition, even though it can be rarely. Try to look for the same love in other beeings, try to see if they can make you feel the same. Even if its just for a short period. Repetition and awareness is the key to true change.

Being present during the solar eclipse should be one of the greatest gifts you can have to be awakening in the now or present moment for a universal connection . That connection which brings you into the power of no thought or ego . The power of the present moment where you allow yourself to be small and humble in the shadow of the moon. Now who is in control?

Wow, it is very crazy the way that he puncts at something very difficult to describe, I mean that change in the point of focus that you are having as a consciousness. The image is clear, do a step back and be there as the space where the inconsciousness is happening.

'The obstacle is the path- Zen. The repressed emotions (pain from trauma) which are still being held within the psyche, require release. Feel it to heal it is the mantra. Remain the observer but feel deeply into the emotions that are arising (cry, shout, scream, yawn, laugh ect) until the wave of emotion (energy in motion) stop arising. Miraculously the energy is discharged. Layer by layer it clears itself when its not being pushed down or away. The mind quietens naturally. Emotions override thoughts within psyche hierarchy. You cannot be fully spiritual until you are fully human. Humans beings need to express themselves authentically and naturally, they do this via free flowing emotions, the mind can not do this function. We must Get out of our heads and into our hearts ❤ 🙏 (this is where I depart from Eckhart teachings having been in my head many many years and unwittingly repressing childhood trauma. Only when I got into these emotions did I begin to hack the mainframe and see change 🙏)

7:37 I think at night as you get closer to sleep state and you are tuning in to higher frequencies you are more comfortable with presence and this will change the next morning when you are closer to physical world.

Without the awakening of consciousness, the brain and mind are incomplete, that is why we do not feel the peace and happiness that is beyond all understanding.

Gratitude affirmations will help heal the old ways and help you relax enough to bless the experience and forgive the lack of understanding about them. I use an 8 hour gratitude affirmation by jess shepherd on KZread, while i sleep which balances the subconscious mind and does the inner healing. God bless you and your dear ones 🙏

Cool video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

Don’t fall into the trap of focusing on your pain as it will become the thing that steers your mood, your relationships and the way you see yourself. By being aware of and alert to the insidiousness of your ego / pain body - You will end a legacy of pain and toxicity and create a powerful capacity to be in the present moment - a depth of peace.

Our cortisol is higher when we wake up, and maybe this man is more anxious because of that. And if anxiety is higher for purely biological reasons like more cortisol, then our mind has to come up with a reason why. Exercise or mindfulness practices right away could help.

Waking in the morning we go from a state of peace where our past is inert to a place of consciousness where past experiences bombard us. Eckhart is missing this man's point. Joe dispenza would recommend a morning meditation practice. Our brain is a living record of all our thoughts actions and feelings and each morning past thoughts and feelings arise habitually from the subconscious....in this waywelive not in the present... But in the past.

Well, I would say that the solution is to ask yourself, why was the REAL reason you did what you did? In this guy's case, it would be, "Why was the real reason you decided to follow your intuition, instead of doing whatever made you the most money?" The answer to that question should lead you in the right direction. And it's important.
