Coyotes and feral hogs have become a true nuisance in many rural communities. Many states have declared them to be nuisance-game and have legalized year-round hunting of them to whittle down their vast populations. If you have a problem with this, don't watch these videos and criticize people who are legally hunting.

That is true infact if hunters don't keep the coytoes in check then they would over populated have end up staving to death because of less food and too many mouths to feed...... Same reason we hunt deer.

Ryan Simpson - I agree Ryan. We have a similar problem in Australia with wild dogs. These are domestic dogs crossed with the native Dingo. They destroy livestock, calves and sheep and are considered a pest animal in every state. This is a great video and the boys should be proud of their efforts. Kindest regards Gary Gunner. Check put my vids on wild dogs.

Great camera work as well as math. The huggers have know idea of the hard work needed to get an instrument to work that accurate. Its not a matter of owning the gear and pulling the trigger. Its all about discipline and range time. I love my encore 25.06 for harvest.

For all those who wine - Last year in MN. coyotes came into a yard and the 5 year old was just outside minutes before. They tore up the lab who stood his ground and protected his yard. The dog lived but nearly lost his entire skin. They lost count on the staples they used to re-approximate his fur. This took place on the edge of a small town in NW MN. That could of been a child in his yard - Think before you post something stupid - STUPID !

Perfect shot, nice to see the bullet trail with clean video for a change, lametube is full of pixilated grainy vids that you can't make out what path the round is on. And it's always nice to see someone be honest about it being the best shooting you've ever done. Modest marksmanship is nice to hear, we always hear some people making insane claims about getting head shots at 9million miles out.... hahaha. Keep it up gents, even if the treehuggin animal rights extremists talk shit. If they even had half a clue, they'll probably never understand why game or predator control is needed.

You can always tell there is a coyote close by when you hear the electric guitar music. In all videos about coyote hunting that I have ever seen, there was electric guitar in the background. It is kind of like that creepy music you hear when there is a Great White shark close by. It must be nice to relax until your hear some riffs. Coyote hunting is pretty easy.

Coyotes are predators who have adapted TOO well to the urban environment and human encroachment on their habitat, and they happen to be able to learn. They have learned to be unafraid of humans which aren't aware of their close proximity. They're very good at being stealthy, and most people aren't even aware when one is around. Recently, they have begun to associate people with food, and some people even feed them. But make no mistake, these are not stray dogs. They are wild animals, a small species of wolf, and have the ability, unique among all other species, to breed with both wolves and dogs. As a result, the overall size of the individual 'yotes is getting bigger, and they are becoming a direct threat to human beings and pets. Thinning the pack in the wild will encourage them to fill the hunting territory left unused, and they may choose to return to wilderness areas.

Great points...coyotes WILL challenge humans they think they can take down, and they do hunt very expertly in packs. You don't want to be out late even in fringe-urban areas , if you are without a firearm.

Hunters go out for hours or even days for quiet and tranquility and then poison their otherwise brilliant videos with this obnoxious, grinding noise.
