Lol...Looks like road hunting to me 😝
Very cool.
What a beautiful place! Eventually I’ll get out there to hunt🔥 great video as always👌🏼
Nice Rifles and bullets, but I just can't justify it to myself to pay more for budget deer hunts I'm keen to go on each season. The rifles and reload bullets I use are "tack drivers" so it makes no sense to me to get an expensive rifle set up.
Either way works but I prefer to start slipping on short final. Don't the pros use the one technique for passenger comfort?? My passengers usually don't mind a good slip.
ive used FFP in the timber and you cant even see the reticle. Id say the odds of FFP costing you a up close timber shot is higher then a SFP scope costing you a long shot because you forgot to be on the highest power when holding off on a long shot
My br4 ranges just off to the right of the reticle. Can this be fixed.
Everyone trying to make a name as guide what a joke thanks for ruining a great spot. Class act
I neck size my 7 mag brass. No special dies just set full length die to size next only. After they are fire formed i get sub moa accuracy and case life is outstanding. The belt is irrelevant.
Fabulous bull and an excellent shot and particularly for a first Elk. No pressure!
Bro, you are dense. Whah a crock of shit
Very cool.
Picking mine up today, couldn’t be anymore stoked about this rifle! 😎🤙🇺🇸
There are actually two components to the Coriolis effect. They can be demonstrated in the following scenarios: 1) You are on the equator, shooting exactly east. The target will rotate down during the bullet's flight, so your bullet will hit high on the target. 2) You are on the north pole, firing in any direction (which means, always south, no matter what). The target will rotate left during the bullet's flight, so your bullet will hit to the right side of the target. Most of the time we are not on the equator or the pole, so both these effects will contribute. In the northern hemisphere, if we are shooting east, the bullet will hit high and to the right. If we are shooting west, the bullet will hit low and to the right. If we are shooting south, the first effect does not contribute, so your bullet will hit on the right side of the target. There is no force involved; the effect happens because the Earth is a rotating frame of reference.
She says “I feel like I am in Asia or Russia”. Both Russia and Kyrgyzstan are on the continent of Asia.
The Elk (Cervus canadensis), also known as the wapiti is a large deer species native to North America and Eastern Asia, it is the largest of the six extant deer species constituting the genus Cervus and the second largest deer species alive today, with only the Moose (Alces alces) being larger, the closest living relative of the elk is the Hangul (Cervus hanglu) that resides in Central Asia, there are fifteen known subspecies of elk: the Tibetan Elk (Cervus canadensis wallichii), the Kansu Elk (Cervus canadensis kansuensis), the Sichuan Elk (Cervus canadensis macneilli), the Mongolian Elk (Cervus canadensis mongoliensis), the Alashan Elk (Cervus canadensis alashanicus), the Tian Shan Elk (Cervus canadensis songaricus), the Manchurian Elk (Cervus canadensis xanthopygus), the †Korean Elk (Cervus canadensis coreanus), the Siberian Elk (Cervus canadensis sibiricus), the Roosevelt Elk (Cervus canadensis roosevelti), the Rocky Mountain Elk (Cervus canadensis nelsoni), the Tule Elk (Cervus canadensis nannodes), the †Merriam's Elk (Cervus canadensis merriami), the Manitoba Elk (Cervus canadensis manitobensis), and the †Algonquin Elk (Cervus canadensis canadensis).
When you guys going build a smokeless 45 ?
Elk hunting strategies with me: Have lots of money and buy tags from private land owners. Then when every time you get to hunt, act like like it's the opportunity of a lifetime filled with all the passion in the world. 🙄
I have a friend who hunted in Colorado for years and never killed. I went on a guided hunt in New Mexico and studied how the guides worked and what calls to use. We went to Colorado the next year and i called a bull in for him. We have been killing elk for 25 years now. Best times of my life
He didn't say the price because he didn't want to scare everyone off because of the ridiculous prices of being two times that of every other builder out there !
Long Range sniping at game is not ethical..in fact it is against the core beliefs of hunters!!!
lmfao.. are you REALLY this stupid??
Hahahaha just be a man and own your bad shot. You don’t need a spotter to call your updraft at 500. 🤡
1300 YARD SHOTS WILL NEVER BE MORE COMMON PLACE...BE REAL BRO! YOUR NOT HUNTING TARGETS.
600 yards???? how can you not shoot that close accurately?
Just curious here, does anybody else question the entire preset turret deal. In my experience shooting angle temp and humidity play a big part in determining my adjustment. Particularly shooting angle. Was in Colorado on a mule deer elk hunt and was shooting the rifle at some rocks. It was about at a 7 degree angle at 650 yards. The first shot with no angle adjustment was a clean miss, ones made adjustments for angle(1.75. Moa difference less) I hit first shot
Fun hunt, target rich environment! Thomas wasted no time dropping the hammer, beautiful buck
Great video, with a great guy! Best from Norway.
Great footage! I'm in love with the 28 Nosler. In the last 5-6 years it's the only caliber I've reached for other than a couple Pronghorn with the 6.5. I went 12 for 12 last year on elk, mule deer and South Africa with the 28!
thank you for this video with THOMAS !!! i learn from him a lot!! great guy!!! hunter shooter and good man!👍👍👍👍👍

Trohpy management is looks even more fun than Trophy management ;)
I found that my supresor ads about 10 ft/s on velocity and are very common in South Africa
Cool topic where are the diagrams and drawings that would make this topic much more palletable ?
Good morning from Parás Nuevo León México.
But they say this doesn't effect a plane.
Wish I lived next-door to you my friend and not in another country love all The content 🤙
I have to ask, is there any designed compatibility in that O ring sight system so it can work with breechloading "centerfire" guns as you call them? I was talk to shoot with Irons and apature sights and they are a soft spot for me.
I don’t want aluminium and I don’t want to pay more for it. I’m sure it’s a great gun. Good luck.
Why pack a stupid suppresser on a hunt of a life time ,when your shots are far and weight is really matters.
It’s a muzzle brake, not suppressor.
Why make a stupid comment, WHEN you do not, in fact haven’t any clue what you’re slobbering about ?
Looks like a sound moderator to me Congrats on a marvelous hunt!
Awesome hunt and a great shot.
Such a badass film. Well done
is this sight compatable with Non-Muzzle loading guns?
Such an incredible animal! Great film. Congrats guys
Thank U 4 This Information
Making a 12 yr old kid shoot a elk at 1400 yds says way more about him as a father than it does anything about his gun or cartridge
Die hard leupold cts people should watch this.
You are talking velocity doesn't really count anymore. Then you say wind is the thing that is hardest to read. Wouldn't velocity help negate the inaccurate wind reading
It sure does. The faster it's going the less time wind has to effect it.
Zzzzzzzz
