Disney Stars And Motor Cars Parade, 100 YOM, 3/2002 | Disney-MGM Studios | Walt Disney World

In 2002, Disney created the "100 Years Of Magic" celebration, to commemorate Walt's 100th birthday if he hadn't passed away 34 years before. Don't smoke, kids.
For the celebration, each park got a new (or re-imagined) parade. Here's a playlist of the 100 Years Of Magic parades I have:

Disney-MGM got the Disney Stars and Motor Cars parade, a showcase of "classic" cars, each featuring a movie theme. In 2004 the parade got a Christmas overlay for the holiday season, and had the name "Disney's Hollywood Holly-Day Parade". Disney Stars (and it's overlay during the holidays) was performed daily until 2008.
This video was taped during the 100 Years Of Magic celebration, and is complete with the 10 and 5 minute announcements. Each of the announcements has the start of the video covered up, because it's un-viewable video. 😁
The parade features an announcer (I think there were three along the parade route), who MC's the cars as they they pass. My other video of the parade features an announcer. This version is more for the soundtrack, and I overlaid the audio at the start and end of the parade. See below for more details.
The other parades can be found here:

Stuff you don't care about...
I think the reason I discarded this video 20 years ago, is because it was taped from the wrong place. We found a place where we could sit down. If you look at the 10 minute announcement, it looks okay. But by the time the parade started, the sun was in front of us with a cloudless sky. Doing some filter work in post pretty much saves the video, but that's the reason the background is washed out, and there's some saturation problems at times when I bring the black levels up to unreasonable levels.
A render like this 22 years ago would have stymied my computer. (In 2002/2003, it was the 1.3 GHz Pentium 4. Today, I have a 20 thread i7...)
The start and end of the video has had the audio overlaid with the CD version. The CD (compact disc, those shiny 5.25" round things) "Disney's Magic in the Streets" had the audio for all the 100 Years parades, and was sold in the parks at the time.
The start was overlaid because the motorcycle sirens obliterated the recorded 100 Years narration. The live and recorded versions are almost identical for the first five minutes, so the audio is mixed about 90% studio and 10% live...
After five minutes, the CD goes into car specific music. "You've got a friend in me" for Toy Story, "Under the Sea" for Little Mermaid, etc. The live version abandons this approach, and goes into this loop of music written for the 100 Year Of Magic, and some vocal-less, instantly recognizable Disney classic fragments.
Starting around 14:15 to the end of the parade, the CD and live versions again synchronize, except the musical loop on the CD has vocals. But I overlaid it all anyway, drowning out the announcer and the motorcycle sirens. Other than that, the musical overlays are show correct, even the way it ends.
