I highly recommend Kenobi by John Jackson Miller, part of the EU. Really good, much better than whatever disney tried to make.

I agree with you. Before Disney a new Star Wars or MCU project felt like an event. Now is extremely obvious they’re just milking it and it’s so sad 😞

Obi Wan was originally conceived as the first movie in a trilogy. Only the first movie's script was written then shelved after the Solo movie and that script was later adapted and stretched into a limited series. They might consider doing the next leg of Obi Wan's journey to Episode 4. But there are no more movie scripts to adapt for that so they'd be making something from scratch if they went ahead with a season 2. I think some people were hoping for some kind of rematch with Sideos eventually. Clone Wars and Bad Batch do better and more entertaining at filling in the gaps than the live action series have. Bad Batch has doing good at chronicling the fate of the clone troopers directly after Episode 3. Honestly I'm more interested in the Willow series than anything star wars right now

@@TheJackedNerd. The first season begins with a genocide(Order 66) and ends with a completely different genocide. Both were interestingly handled. In-between basically follows the wanted main characters as they experience the active transition from Republic to Empire in the first few months and explores the extent of the clone troopers brainwashing program versus their awareness of how they are being used.

I am happy I had this pop up in my home page. Honestly a channel that needs much more attention as it spoke my mind for me PERFECTLY. How is it that stuff original to Disney like Andor and Rouge One actually make for solid SW content while everything related to George Lucas like the Skywalker family, Boba Feet, Obi wan be run into the ground and spat on.

Never lose hope. Somebody's gonna make one hell of a reboot in our lifetimes that drops the now ruined canon storyline and starts it over with effort, creativity, and actual time and care. Give it 90 years.

If you want really good Star Wars that disney will not give you, I highly recommend The Star Wars Expanded Universe or Legends as the label says (though if you ask me, it' still the REAL canon). It's really good and the story telling is so good, not every story is good, but there are way more good stories then bad. Pick up the Thrawn trilogy and I guarantee every one of you will have a blast, all the writers had visions, and all worked together. I say Star Wars isn't dead because the EU is waiting for everyone. Also, if you want something unique with risks taken, New Jedi Order, IMO the best Star Wars story ever told, takes many risks and nearly everything is earned and respected, though read that after some of the other stories as it's heavily involved in the lore and much later in the timeline.

This is from someone who thinks the only star wars screen adaptation that is worth rewatching is The Empire Strikes back (I was a prequels kid and ya they weren't great). Andor is legitimately one of the best depictions of Anti-Fascism ever put to screen. I hope you enjoy it. Also as a fellow Gym Bro nerd, you're looking fucking yoked.

Obi-wan should have never included Darth Vader. Having Obi wan meet up with darth vader in between episodes 3 and 4 is ABYSMALLY STUPID. It's up there with bringing Palpatine back.

There are those of us that actually wanted to see what happened during the middle years, we were introduced to him in 1977 as an old man, then we were hyper spaced back in time to his 20s and 30s. Many of us ASKED for this and totally disagree with their decision. Not subscribing to listen to your griping and complaining.

I agree with you I think the woke argument is fucking stupid. It’s fine if you like the live action shows I don’t mind them for the most part I’d say I’ve only enjoyed mando (haven’t watched andor she hulk ms marvel). My problem is they don’t feel for effortful in the writing. I say I’m pro wokeisms just to piss those people off lol
