@@wm1958 I relate to his level of crazy. I have to say I am as crazy as him only I have feelings and remorse. I willfully did awful things as a child and still feel guilt over it. Somewhat envious of him actually, oh well we all do dumb things as children.

you guys should look for his whole testimony, the kind of person he used to be is so different from who he is now. It's a real miracle. I mean, the dude tried to kill his dad by cracking his head with a hammer for no reason other then he wanted to kill someone and his dad happened to be in close proximity. He even said his dad was a nice person. The change in David is a real testament to the power of Christ.

@@MrTheclevercat lol, no it does not. It doesn’t comment on the shape of earth and neither can you assume the meaning of a text without the context. The verse you probably are referring to are found in psalms, and revelation just to name a few. To be blunt and straight to the point. No it does not teach that. But never the less, believe what you want.

@Dee's Corner see you are doing the same mistake that 99% of people do. Read it properly. I said "I'm more Blessed than mary", i didnt say "mary is not blessed". I'm not disrespecting mary, just saying my Blessings are more that her, it doesn't mean she doesn't have Blessings. Also where is the disrespect? I never said anything against mary. Nabeel is in Hell. He denied Allah and claimed he is going to Heaven so Allah gave him cancer to test that theory of his and on his deathbed Nabeel was praying to God NOT TO DIE and busted himself on his own deathbed. I LOVE Nabeel Qureshi's books! I bought both of them on audio books, for my work commute. Nabeel reads them, and by the end, like he says, he is family. He is an amazing brother. It will be a joy to finally go home (Heaven) and hug my brother, for the first time. The books are totally worth it. They also tell a lot about David Wood's personality. It's awesome to see interviews with David, because it's like getting to learn more about my brother's best friend. (Yeah, I know that all sounds really weird, but listen to the audiobooks and you will understand.)

An embarrassment to Jesus

My wife was a grad student around the same time Nabeel and David were at ODU. I remember meeting both of them at an event where Nabeel debated one of his cousins about Islam vs Christianity where my wife (then girlfriend) went to church.

Nabeel's testimony was powerful. God does still speak to us through Dreams. Seeking Allah Finding Jesus is a great book.

Amongst those kept from Jesus it’s often common for them to be given scripture or even meet Jesus in their seeking of Truth, prayers to an only good God, or dreams. See Jeremiah 29:13 and Roman 1 to understand how God gives everyone a chance. I know more than one person with a similar testimony and actually the people I know have even more dramatic (miraculous) experiences. Yes, “seeking Allah, finding Jesus” is a must listen/read, that and mere Christianity by C.S. Louis after first making sure to read at least the New Testament, then Genesis, exodus, and Isaiah.

He could be less of a loudmouth and more measured. He's certainly not ignorant, but I don't think he's an expert either. Definitely a guy I don't feel too good about having subscribed to I think the best part is that he talked about how Muslims misunderstand the trinity and think it's three co-equal Gods, but then just doesn't say why that's not true. And I know it's because even Christians can't figure that out or agree on the reason. But I'm glad he told everyone one of the Gods is the wrong one

You try again to provide an answer to my question above. You believe killing Jesus will bring you "salvation" but you did not provide that as an answer to my question above, but you believe in it as killing him will bring you salvation, you could not and did not select that as an answer to my question above. If you look at deep down in your conscience you know it very well, killing Jesus is ungodly act, it did not come from God and it could not come from God of Abraham and you know it is not valid before the God, which is why you could not provide that as an answer.

It took a brilliant debater of the caliber of David Wood to help Nabeel understand the Gospel. Nabeel became a passionate advocate for Jesus Christ. I loved his lectures and still miss him to this day. I am forever grateful to David for being instrumental in his salvation. God knew it takes a strong character like David's, he is the best tool imaginable to bring Muslims to the real God, to Jesus our Messiah. Ex-Muslims who give their life to Jesus are never luke warm, a true blessing. God bless David and Nabeel.

@@powerfulmuslimah About what has David lied about? He presents Surahs in Arabic from a Qur'an regularly, then also present the literal English translation of the Arabic words on the piece of paper. He then actually reads it to understand what the Surahs are saying themselves, compares it to the actual Bible, which he presents also, and discusses the implications of what the Qur'an and Bible BOTH say. That's called honesty. He isn't trying to hide the truth, he literally just presents it to be read.

If you want to believe the lies, and misleading talking points that this guy who hates Islam puts out 🤷‍♀️. Allah is your God, My God and his God whether you want to believe it or not, but it will be in your best interest to learn the truth from an Imam, or something like that. You can logic your way to empathy, and the Christian idea that humans are created in the image of God is a good place to start the logical chain for that. Think about how people tell chatGPT pretend to be this and get different answers. The AI has no emotion, but it can find an algorithm to fake the emotion based on the goal you give it. Now give that the goal of treating fragile human emotions as if it's the image of God that you don't want to mess up. I wouldn't be surprised if you can't tell the difference between the result and real empathy.
