It was because of seeing "Reasons to Believe" on my old tiny tv that I moved from where I lived to a single apartment, stopped associating with a whole group of druggies, read the bible all the way through, and started a new life.

Why wouldn't you be terrified to meet an Angel? When God wants a city obliterated ,who did he send? Who slaughtered first born children ? Beings created only to serve with one wing drenched in blood , would you really want to meet one?

God always leaves room for faith. Go read all of Hebrews 11 today! It always helps me when I'm slipping into that frame of mind or if I'm believing in the circumstances I'm in more than the voice/word/promises of God. What does scripture say faith is? Hebrews 11:1 ESV - Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:6 ESV 6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

During that time I saw countless orbs in the sky. They always seemed to be connected to my mind, like they were absolutely looking straight at me, even hovering above me and lighting up brightly when I requested. I had extra terrestrial beings appear to me when I meditated. I also spoke with an et being "from star system Sirius." They are all liars and it all stopped completely the day I came to Jesus. The Bee should not be cozying up to Ross ! I am very disappointed. He is a Trojan horse to the church ! He has dishonestly twisted the text of scripture to accommodate Big Bang cosmology. His dishonest misuse of the Hebrew shows he is not to be trusted. ( Read the book Refuting Compromise, by Dr. Sarfati). Ross rejects the creation account and the biblical timeline. He believes death, bloodshed and disease existed before Adam’s sin ! Think about that. He teaches Noah’s flood was a local event, despite what the Bible clearly says, and the fossil record confirms. His dangerous compromises have confused and greatly weakened the faith of many Christians. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i32X1K-tkt23ZLg.html

While I'm still a young earth creationist, which Dr. Ross is not, his "Reasons to Believe" website is well worth a deep look. God operates outside of space and time. Et-hypothesis is Naturalistic , does not need Magic/non-local SuperNature Nonsuper Nature has Predictive Powers, SuperNature does not. That's the crux,it's not really an atheistic validation. Many people of God get to the point in their walk with God where they start to explain that things that are called the supernatural are more real and more natural. Faith comes before walking in that. I am blessed to see many miracles and hear the voice of God. But the way that I learned to hear the voice of God, was through the failures of not listening and the natural cause and effect that followed. Soon I realized that voice I didn’t only tell me right from wrong but it’s whose on the other end when you pray and part of prayer is listening. This voice and never contradict scripture, he helps you to understand scripture, he brings scripture to mind, he can tell you to go left and if you’ll be you’ll later find out had you gone right there would’ve been a problem. God is amazing. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, they will not listen to another.” We are to also test every spirits voice, that’s also scriptural. I’m finding a lot of people who need deliverance who hear, but not from God who is only good. The stuff is 100% real. It’s a promise that if you humbly seek the truth with your whole heart, you’ll find it. Start in scripture because the devil tries to masquerade as an angel of light but he comes to steal kill and destroy, but Jesus comes to give life and to the full.

@@darrenk6616 I think you should read your bible again my friend. Time is relative where God is concerned. The "7 days" is a human measurement of the revolution of the earth as it spins it's way around the sun. God does not live on earth, nor were there "days" during creation. I think the 7 days was a human interpretation. I don't think it's literal. Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe I'm not. There's no telling how many hands the Bible passed through and was edited before it got to us. But I know that the basic premise of "7 days" doesn't make sense when you're talking about a being that is eternal and is beyond the natural laws. My brother and I have speculated that perhaps God is still resting on the 7th day. He might continue for another million years or so. I don't know. And acting like you do is really rather foolish if you ask me.

@@nyestrovicpenchkofferberge3407 The projection is strong with you. Now you're questioning the validity of God's word? You do have a point if you're referring to the new age translations that rely on Vatican-approved manuscripts, but if we are to have laws, it doesn't seem prudent to think God wouldn't preserve His word through the generations. That is His responsibility. You have either forgotten or haven't put it together yet that the Bible provides genealogies, and from there it is possible to add up the years. Good luck getting anywhere close to 7,000 years, let alone for numbers that are pulled out of a hat or otherwise. How old was the earth before James Hutton and Charles Lyell came along? Arthur Holmes was one of the first (if not the first) individuals to surmise the earth was over 1 billion years old in 1913. He landed on 1.6 billion--a number pulled out of a hat. How could others possibly conclude the earth was many millions of years old before radiometric dating’s inception around 1907 and radiocarbon dating techniques formed in or around 1949? The same techniques that are ironically fatally flawed right from the start. How peculiar to have numbers, made-up facts, and a world view (directed toward the masses that believe this, not you) that change with the wind and where the earth ages 27 million years every year, and that's just since Arthur Holmes' conclusion in 1913. But SCIENCE! How old will the earth be in 15 minutes? Did you know that Lyell's stated goal was to “free the science from Moses”? Oh, so maybe it is about psyence and not science and furthering an agenda. Does Satan not have a counterfeit to everything? It's about following scientific consensus and not the scientific method and going along with the groupthink of the day. Hardly impressive. I have written pages worth attacking the millions and billions of years idea, including using sources from the lamestream $cience community, so there is plenty more I could add, but I will end it here. Good day. Just to add, I do stand corrected that Hugh believes in evolutionism. He confirmed he is not on that train (yet). That was my error.

@@gionniblood You make a point that I was getting at actually. The majority of humanity is prone to religiosity. The form it takes is typically whatever their peers and social leaders promote. The majority of atheists have peers, heroes and teachers who are also atheists. So they are conforming to their peer group. Atheism may not be a religion, but many atheists are atheists because of their religiosity and have latched onto the various irreligious ideologies that their social peers and leaders promote. Ironically, these irreligious ideologies are so effective at this because they fill the same emotional roles as religion does, and thus those who are prone to religiosity get caught in its wake if other peers or social leaders of one religion or another fail to effectively promote their own. Basically, there is no more difference between most atheists and most of the religious than there is a difference between those of various religious sects. They may hold opposing views, but their reasons for holding them are the same. That is to say, most humans, either in religion, or atheism, are that because of their religiosity and desire to fill that emotional role with something. And the rest of us, be it atheist or religious, hold our views because we have come to them on our own and having examined them, found them convincing. Ironically, by getting religion out of public schooling, irreligious ideologies have supplanted its role in education near identically. This is why atheism is trendy today. Because it (by extension of irreligious ideologies) is what is taught in public schools as the main religion, almost entirely unchallenged.

Just looking in the Bible we see many instances of Angels who are able to interact with our physical in very real ways. Likewise Angels (likely fallen) may be manifesting as UFOs, but are able to have some physical properties. US Navy reported radar and other sensor data on the legitimate unexplained reports suggest some kind of physical reality; albeit with perhaps multidimensional capabilities.

It's simply that these are temporary manipulations of matter, to deceive people into believing they are witnessing actual "nuts and bolts" flying vehicles. So, when the supposed "crashes" occur, the manipulated matter simply disolves. Many persons witnessing one of these, can be completely fooled. Extremely clever deceptions by fallen angels, who are incredibly intelligent. They must possess abilities far beyond humans.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This church brought me to Christ. I believe in Him. I pray to Him, in His name. It is by His divine grace and atonement that I can be saved. I can only speak for myself when I say that I know the Lord is at the helm, in this church in this day. If I get to the end of my life to find out, “hey, that was the wrong church you were goin to there, dummy,” then so be it. But what I know is that I feel peace, I feel joy and it is because I have been brought to His feet. Regardless of our differences, I enjoyed this interview. Thank you.

Joseph Smith was a proven false prophet. - period. Only a fool would continue to study these teachings with that knowledge. What does the Bible say about false prophets in 50+ places? This is like picking through the garbage to salvage a cult, because you turn up a few shiny bits and pieces. It's garbage! Move on. The arrogance of thinking that the Bible needs new revelations?! - Seriously? The willful ignorance of any who follow such a sexual deviant charlatan! It's a different Jesus!

Dr. Hugh Ross has been one of my Christian heroes for several years. Amazing man. The apostle Paul said “ My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power”. - 1 Corinthians 2:4 Apologetics has its place but the bottom line is the power of the Spirit and His love (Romans 5:5). That’s the convincer.

Why would you give them that kind of credit? You are the one limiting yourself. God calls you to be a "son" (daughter). Nothing stops you from attaining this status except your flesh.

We have been given the Holy Spirit who is the power of God. Can a demon stop the Holy Spirit in any form or shape?

Trek is future fantasy and travel fantasy like Buck Rogers comics and later novels...not science fiction. Bradbury and Ellison never called their work science fiction. Trek, especially the original three Star Treks (TOS, TAS, TNG) also has a lot of 1960s Scientology in it. The writers were friends with L Ron Hubbard and Hubbard's books were extremely popular in Hollywood and with many Government folk in the 60s and 70s.
