I thought about the question, ‘what is your favorite sin?’. I see a dichotomy in the question, which I can’t quite articulate. But I will try. The devils only real trick is to get us to take our eyes off Jesus and put them on ourselves. It is the stunt he pulled in Eden. Looking at ourselves, placing ourselves at the center, is our favorite sin. So, my favorite sin is me.

In so much that the BB is provocative, it spreads the gospel. Sometimes, it’s easier to hear something true from a humorous perspective that direct speech cannot necessarily achieve. The potential for a person to laugh at their own fallibility can make it easier to seek remedy.

Good interview! Y'all missed a great follow-up question on the age of the earth. When someone says, "I don't think Genesis is that kind (literal) of literature", my favorite follow-up questions are, "How would you classify the literature of the ten commandments, which claims to have been directly written by God?" In the ten commandments, the reason given for the weekly Sabbath is this: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day... Exodus 20:11 My second follow-up question is, "At what book and chapter CAN we start believing the Bible means what it says?" I welcome serious debate about this, and I don't pretend all the answers are easy. But as someone with a scientific background, I warn Christian leaders that much of the church leadership (even the "fundamentalists") today make the same mistake the Catholic church did with Galileo. Those religious leaders weren't defending clear Biblical truth. Instead, they were defending Ptolemaic astronomy, the science of that era, with a veneer of poorly interpreted Scriptures to try to give that science religious authority. It was a bad approach then, and it is a bad approach today.

For many years I have watched the corruption of people, Oprah has always been pushing the "new age" religions and odd-sex. The Beetles, and many rock and roll bands, got into the Eastern style beliefs, pushing dope, that influenced many naive kids back then. Illicit drugs were popular and fit in well with the lifestyles of many, the hippies constantly bragged about their dope smoking ways. Elite people did their LSD along with discreet sex parties of all stripes. We had popular gurus and shamans advising people and showing them what hallucinogenic vegetable or leaf their tribe took to contact "God" or various kinds of spirits, people are easily influence and easily corrupted. The drug culture boomed with non-christian people using marijuana and as many other drugs they could harvest or manufacture. Now the psychiatrists and the psychologists have taken over from the confessional and religious advisors. These newer charlatans give political propaganda and mind-altering drugs in the name of health and happiness. What a mess. We are all off to hell in a hand-basket. ALL christians in ALL denominations should be working together otherwise you will lose.

It is wonderful to hear Dr. Thoennes gently suggest that "worship teams" and "praise bands" should study the Old Testament to help in identifying idolatry in the modern church. If you were an idolater, how would you know it? I confess I am beyond that ability. The destruction I have witnessed is too horrible. We have taken the hymns that have sustained and trained Christians for at least 1,700 years, and have replaced them with fluffy four-chord rock-n-roll from the Christian Entertainment Industry. May more and more people follow the example set here, stop ASSUMING they are blameless, and search the Hebrew Scriptures to learn what Idolatry actually is!

I'd love to go from -6.50 to no glasses by my next DMV visit for a Driver's license. I think if I keep up Endmyopia habits consistently then I won't need glasses for computer work by then. I actually wear -6.00 for most of the day and I am assuming my upcoming Optometrist appointment will result in a -6.50 measurement. At least it will be the first time I know of that my eyesight has improved since prior appointments. My worst was -6.75 and that is what they measured last appointment.

The thing about the beginning of Genesis, and whether each day was a 24 hour period?.. Well, each believer has a mind to understand things of God and of Truth.. Myself, i believe it's alright to believe God created everything in 6 days, and rested on the 7th..but that each day was considered a 'day' by God, and that because none of us were there to witness the 'Reality' of how the Creation 'happened', well.. it's enough to believe that everything was created in that one week time frame, ACCORDING TO GOD!.. We 'believe God', because we TRUST HIM, and because God 'cannot lie'. And all of this is good enough for me.. ...and Him!

The answer is: The devil hates Latin and the Catholic Church. The possessed speak in English and all sorts of known and unknown languages. If you are interested in learning about spiritual warfare, look up Father Vincent Lambert or Father Chadd Ripperger. People are usually not delivered in a session. In addition, only God delivers the possessed.

The main idol is your body, thinking that you are a body that struggles against other bodies and condemns them. The transition to Spirit is why we are here. We are all one spirit, not separate from anything that is real. John 17.20-24. The transition is being born again. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" It's putting fear behind and with it punishment. "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love." "Bodies" believe that the world is real. Jesus didn't. "Judge not by appearance but judge by righteous judgment." So knowing how old the earth is will not take us beyond it. Jesus never said that God is the puppeteer of earth. "Our Father who art in heaven." "The kingdom of heaven is within you." We know God through prayer, not perception. We put sin to death through forgiving the sin in others and then we know we are forgiven. "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; " " If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent." When you forgive, you know we have never left God's perfect creation." Jesus is coming back only for those that don't believe, "I am with you always." There's no waiting. Not taking the world seriously lets us go beyond it to God's true creation as Erik says, to God's kingdom. We get there through forgiveness, not judgment.

worship isn't a biblical word, it's a meaningless word invented to replace "bow down' in the bible. Every place you see the word worship, it's really bow down or prostrate before. In fact worship is n't in foreign bibles. in French the change the word bow down to adoration. same with the Germans. it's amazing to me that christians are totally uninterested in the truth on this matter. oh Jesus just kissed m e.

Awe man…. If you can’t believe God did it in six days and the world can be 6-7000 years old how can you believe he did it at all. The effects of the flood and no telling what God did to split human kind up by forming the earth to his needs is not off the table. You can make something date millions of years just at the house with a method using mostly home items. It’s funny when he says it’s not a select chosen few then says we are the ones set apart makes me laugh so hard. All non Calvinist’s do this thing where they don’t like a word so they call it different doctrine and use the word they like. Then the Calvinist’s are like that’s what I said. Just use the language in the Bible lol 😅 the Bible says he selects and can’t lose any not one. This is not hard. Stop judging God and just say I don’t care Jesus whatever you reveal is good enough for me. Nothing is unfair for God
