Dish Pit POV 1

Музыка

A Point of view of my job as a dishwasher. Filmed with a Vivitar Lifecam, If you people like this video and want more, then I may invest in a Go Pro camera and make better POV videos.
Originally I didn't want music in the video, but the cook's music in the background may copyright infringed this video, so I put my own music over the background sound.
(Note: This video was edited to be short as possible! My hands were washed every time before handling clean dishes!)

I like my job as a dishwasher, I am really fast even when it's rush and that makes me proud because I get allot of compliments from the kitchen and waiters. The worst part for me is the heat, cuts, soreness, burning, getting whet and cleaning afterwards. And waking up the next day with my sore hands is another level. But I like to work hard because it makes me tough.

Pretty good, although your vertical axis handswipe could use a little correction. I see you use the turnandstack technique, which is lvl2 mediumdish technique at best, amateurdish at worst. Try using the all famouse multifacet stacknserve technique, thatll really give you some xp points and make the servers weak in the knees. Now, as for the silverware section, always use the even-flow-stack-line formation, well known by all lvl 3 and up dishwashers, and even rumored to have been used by Lord Washus himself.

You know you're not in a very busy restaurant when you can individually wash each plate instead of loading them in the rack and spraying them all down at once. At my old job we had a commercial washer so we didn't even have to spray them but we also had at least 6 different kinds of plate and at least 10 times the volume

It's faster to just run the flatware tray through the dishwasher twice and then sort it into the cutlery holder after. It also gets the flatware cleaner because the water can spray in between the utensils better than if they are laying tight flat against each other in the holder.

Personally, I'm doing it as a starter job to get into the industry to work my way up, but the place I work at pays me $3 more than my states minimum wage and I get some benefits. yep, and you don't have to interact with customers much. Just you, your station, and concentrating on the task. I literally just started dish washing as my first job and I love it, only downside so far for me is the back pain after you finish your shift and the occasion when you have to stop the washing machine and clean it out(mainly bc plates then pile up). Extra benefit for me is the place I work at pays me $3 over the minimum wage and about $2.5 more than the average dish washer according to payscale for my state

So I do more agree with the other guy, and would send everything through the rack conveyor machine. Even without prespraying everything. The dishwasher should be able to do all this work itself, if it has a pre-wash section. I consider a 3 compartment sink as old fashioned. I even haven't ever seen one in any restaurant I've worked. It's a typical USA way of washing dishes.

some critical topics in this dishwasher: 1 personal protection+thermal gloves,o cotton gloves, plastic gloves, arms protection. 2 the 3 sinks pre wash are mandatory in all dishwashers! servsafe. 3 technical failure every thing must to be passed by the dishwasher machine before stored. really needs correction. It's a good video to illustrative what you can not do!

.... Actually it's really not a bad video, the places I've worked and and still work at don't require you to wear gloves as long as you wash your hands, and the 3 sinks doesn't mean you need to wash then send through, that's what the sanitizer is for
