Discovering Hull's Largest Park: 5K run experience

East Park is a major area of 120 acres situated on Holderness Road in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. East Park is registered a Grade II listed site by English Heritage. It is the largest public park in Hull and is often used for large open-air venues such as concerts and the annual Hull Show.
The location of todays video is also the site of a rare water ploom chute ride from yesteryear.

Well done you guy's. You must come up and do Sewerby Park, that's a single lapper figure of eight course with cafe and toilet facilities and not far away.

Well done guys 👍😊 My first ever Park Run was at East Park. I'd taken up running again after a 22 year break. I've just dug the text out - 3rd November 2012. I came in 135th with a time of 26min 11sec. Switched to Peter Pan Park Run when that was launched and ran that many times before having to unfortunately give up running in 2018 😕

Oh wow it’s a shame you had to give up running. I’ve heard of the Peter Pan park run. Vicky and teddy have done that one. 26:11 is a great time :)

@@ALWResearchTeam Thanks Andy 👍 Peter Pan is a good one when it's dry, but a nightmare of slippery mud after rain. I know the ones who launched the event. They were getting 20-30 people at first but before long they were regularly attracting 200+ and still are ☺ When I had to give up, I was the "unofficial photographer" for a while.

Certainly one for dry weather then :) We did goole west park recently and that was a good one. Peter Pan is on the to do list :)
The Rock & Roll marshal should get along well with Dave.

My son will be in town centre on Tuesday he's doing hull as part of a geography field trip as it would cost them too much to take them to Brazil

@@ALWResearchTeam he's loving it but not looking forward to the field trip especially after flamingo land earlier this week he got heat stroke and was sick 6 times on the bus home.
