Discovered! The Real Jewish Calendar - Part 2. The Evidence

Join me as we investigate and rediscover the ancient Jewish calendar of Biblical times. This ground breaking research will finally restore accurate historical dates for many events which scholarship assumes are correct. How is it possible that the calendar was lost in the first place? This presentation will explain.
In Part 1, the basics of the luni-solar calendar are laid out. The 354 day lunar year is short of the solar year by 11 days. This requires an extra month every 2 to 3 years which leads to a pattern known as the Metonic cycle. The assumption is made that the current Metonic cycle has been the same for millennia. Is that accurate? How would historical dates change if that has not always been the case?
In Part 2, the evidences are presented that the Metonic cycle has actually been different through the long history of the Jewish calendar. Where did these different Metonic cycles originate from? What affect did they have? And what is the real Jewish calendar?
In Part3, mathematical proof is given for the various Metonic cycle patterns.

Great work! What are your thoughts on the calendar expressed in the Dead Sea scrolls? That would have to be the oldest documented evidence of a biblical people keeping a specific calendar

"oldest documented evidence"? You mean the book of Exodus in the Bible where God gives the Israelites instructions about the calendar doesn't count? If you are referring to the 364 day Enoch calendar, that was never in official use in Israel at any time.

@@eclipseeventsigns I agree with you as I am trying to follow the true biblical calendar. Currently I follow the lunar solar 29/30 day month calendar with sabbaths falling on every 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th day then a new moon day then cycle begins again. This video basically explains it kzread.info/dash/bejne/op2JuKWon9fedps.htmlsi=KQsKyngczDTKf9Xw

I thought ancient Israelites only had two seasons - summer and winter. Then when they became Hellenized around the second century BC and so on, they changed it. Or am I confused?

You can find the Abib dates based on my calculations for the years 8 BC to 34 AD in my book. All calculations and sources are given so anyone can verify for themselves. I can't put in a lin-k. "Hidden Rhythms in Prophecy".

The seven year tribulation is 2520 days which is 360 each year for seven years. Plus, Noah was a sea for 150 days this is five months this equals 30 per month. Not saying you’re wrong but if the original Jewish calendar was 354 should have been mentioned in the seven year tribulation?

Well, actually, no. If you are going to talk numbers, you have to actually quote the correct numbers. No where does it state the "tribulation" is 7 years. 7 years refer to the final Week of the 70 Weeks. The tribulation is the final half of the 7 years - times, time and half a time. And if you try to do simple math in Rev 11 and equate 42 months to 1260 days, that doesn't make sense either. They are 2 different events. Jerusalem will be under oppression for 42 months. The 2 witnesses will be prophesying for 1260 days. Those events do not end at the same time. Details. They are the secret to truly understanding.

So the lunar calendar and gregorian calendar are not in tandem. And the shabbat is not Saturday.
