Oh that’s too kind Amal.
"Disco's Main Squeeze" from Cornershop is awesome!! 😂Love this video!!
❤ Digging those groovy beats ❤
Sublime! Plus, bonus Robert Fripp on keys! 😀
I first heard this fantastic jam, although it was the instrumental version, on Pulp's pre-show playlist at their Bridlington Spa gig, on May 26, 2023. It took a while but I eventually made my way here to watch the video. Also, coincidentally, last week I was listening to "Hold On It Hurts." Everyone needs some Cornershop in their life. #easterneye #ampleplay #pinkyannrihal #cornershop
love it

Is a new Cornershop album on the way?? Please say yes!!!
I remember this rock band on Eastern Eye ! This song itself sounds like The Goombay Dance Band doing Wooden Heart

Ha, the band in video are the same band that did the original track, but Cornershop have done the music. At least the 80s elements shine through.

@@CornershopHQ So to clarify Pinky Ann Rihal is the name of the band in this (amazing) video who Cornershop collaborated with on this particular track?

Also, is that Ken Livingstone on the sofa next to them?! Who cares, this track is great!
Video was 4:3 back then. People be like- "I just watched a great WW2 documentary..." Sure they lopped off 1/3 of the visual history, but it was in 4K maaaan!
