Better too. You never know what will go wrong with no fault of yours. Like said customer change as soon as something goes wrong. No matter how good the customer is you are always to be blamed. Good work bro.

Had a couple of f and e tank ball valves fail when bunging and swapping rads etc, if they look older than a year I always price to swap them as a must. I get pricing up for every eventuality would make the job £££ but the few things like that, pump valves, gates etc always nice to renew so not relying on old stuff. Friend did a flush and swapped out an old floorstander with an Elson tank, an old check valve and closed gate valve failed and allowed the half cut out tank to refill over the night and flood the house, his mistake for trusting old stuff to do it's job but harsh lesson learnt 😅

If those large magnets were that covered after just a few hours, I wonder what state the existing Magnaclean is in? I bought a couple of really long vacuum hoses so that the vacuum stays out of the loft completely. Enjoying your video's.

That was very unlucky. Like you said, it was under insulation, so how was you supposed to know that it was loose. I have just subscribed to your channel. Thank you for this video. I've learnt now to check the connections to the F&E tank to try and mitigate that issue in the future.

These things can happen but the insulation all over very hard to see the overflow connections technically a preexisting fault but understand some customer prob take the advantage.

What way do your disclaimers, is it just word of mouth or do they have to sign something

  • @cputilitysolutions

I have a saved PDF which I can either print and get customer to sign but usually I just email it over and ask customer to reply back to say they have read and agreed to it

Why did the FE overflow? Was it a case of tying that ball valve up and bent it? I take FE out completely on a flush, outside, clean it, and fit new BV. I get you though, I've had a fair few with no overflow at all, so a disclaimer is always needed. Top work mate.
