Nice. Fixed my remote. It's insane how there's a video for something so specific :)

you missed the small screw under the bit that the battery hatch clips into.

It was a bit of a struggle to get it opened especially because you never showed the couple of screws securing the case. One screw for my BN59-00706 was visible next to the battery compartment, the second was "hidden" behind the sticker on the back. You can feel a slight indentation where it is. I just pushed my tiny Phillips head through the sticker. You can also work out where these screws are because the case won't give at these points. After all that I have a clean remote that works marginally better than before. Thanks for the video otherwise I wouldn't have attempted it because the case does not want to yield.

He showed a remote with no screw. All snap together. I wish it did have screw...

Yeah, You can see his had a screw also… 1:32 in the middle just above his thumb. That’s why he was struggling to get it apart 00:34 - 00:49. I snapped the screw on mine, because I wasn’t paying attention and I have the exact same remote.

Basically, there's no way to get it apart without completely chewing up the case at the end. I have a similar remote and I've already marred the plastic all to hell trying to pry it apart. Completely without success I might add. They might as well glue these frigging things together.
