I stayed at one of the worst hotels in Southport, Filthy mattress, holes in the ceiling, Royal Clifton Hotel by Britannia Hotels WHAT A SCRAPHEAP! How can this be open to the public??? This hotel is in in Southport, Merseyside in the north west of England. I check out one of the worst rated hotels in the town and give you the full room tour with a full explore and walk around the hotel and grounds. How was my stay, is it the worst hotel in Southport? I live in Southport and the Hotels used to be really nice until they were bought out by big companies. You are probably better looking at the small Bed and breakfasts for accomadation
Myself and my girls have this running joke that we get a view over either the carpark or the bins! But your view beats that, so jealous 😂

Before they amalgamated we had Queen(s) Victoria(s) Royal Palace Hotels as the 4 hotels spanning to Birkdale and the Palace Hotel with it's own railway station terminating in Southport town centre 😊
Try the Scarisbrick hotel on lord street that’s Southport’s worst by far 😂

Stayed there a few years ago before it was part of Britannia, I think it was Best Western when I stayed there. It wasn’t that bad then - a bit dated but it was clean. I had a back view as well but don’t think I had a view of the pipe. I remember the food was quite nice in the restaurant. x
