I don’t think so. It was an exhaust leak making it sound super loud. If a valve slapped the piston the motor would be back and apart

you may think you got a deal until you buy a head and a cylinder and top end

I already bought all of that stuff tho.. all oem too. I have 2800 into the bike. And it’s in perfect shape. Find me another 18’ under 3500 that runs. Nearly impossible

This is why I dont want a NEW 4 stroke motocross bike! Theyre so high strung from the factory, let them get hot with dirty oil and BOOM. Not all 4 strokes are trash just motocross bikes. A Honda XR400 will run for decades with simple valve adjustment.. because they are “de-tuned” (or, not high-strung) from the factory. Im staying 2 stroke forever!

I do not think that oil is jaso approved. Not good for bikes with wet clutch’s.

How in the world would a licensed GYTR factory build brand new head be junk? They're definitely expensive don't get me wrong, But far from junk.
