In this video, I partner with Nicks Boots to develop a boot knife and sheath. I make a prototype twist release sheath, and a knife with a classic leather stacked handle. This is my first attempt, and I may try something more simple and concealable in a future video. I hope that you enjoy this handmade boot knife metalworking project.
Nicks Handmade Boots has been making the toughest work boots since 1964. Their boots are USA made by skilled craftsmen in Spokane, WA.

from someone that wears a boot knife all the time, it looks really cool but cold in the winter snow and a little too long to be comfortable. Mine has a leather sheath and I like to keep my knife around 4-5 inches for comfort. It's basically a skinning knife for me, but that's what I like. You still did a great job, it looks really cool
As a maker, and a knifemaker, I am doubly impressed!
Didn't quite know what you were going with at first. But the execution is wonderful. You've grown so far as an artist in the few years I've been watching you.
