My DiResta GIANT Razors… Now LIVE HERE: imakeny.com/products/diresta-...
In this video I make the exterior to a camper trailer. This camper trailer build will ultimately be used for marketing purposes, and be sure to check out part two of the project where I will build out the interior of the trailer - Enjoy.

Hey all - Just a quick update to let you know that My Giant DiResta Razors are Now Live Here: imakeny.com/products/diresta-razor-blade
One of the things I really admire about you Jimmy is your willingness to jump into virtually any build and do it. Something like this would have scared me but like you say, you go to school, learn and get it done. Can't wait to see the next video!

@@jimmydiresta You are doing a wonderful job and don't believe for a minute that you haven't got this. In this video the only apparent mistake was estimating material. I just subscribed because I have faith that I'll see the finished product. Have a great day!

@@jimmydiresta you have done much difficult projects in past compare to this
That's incredibly well framed and clean looking. I've seen actual factory RV frames that look like they're built of scrap wood and hope. Can't wait to see the interior.👍

You think thats bad bro, you should see the way they build mobile homes. Most of the time its wood off of pallets and the electrical is a Mashup of Homer Simpson meets Walt Griswold meets Red Green. Total trash.
Looks great! Fyi amber lights can only be used on the forward direction on the trailer. The 5 lights you put in would need to be red
I really admire Jimmy's ultra practical and uncomplicated approach to analysing and solving common problems encountered in his builds. When you can look past your limitations and intuitively improvise a solution for the problem at hand, on the fly, that is a hallmark of true genius.
you should be proud, Jimmy. It looks fabulous. Your craftsmanship always inspires me to step up my game. Bravo. Looking forward to Pt 2
I was kinda vibing with the pink trailer.
I own and operate concession trailers for a living. I also build and maintain my equipment myself. Every thing you did to build this is pretty much exactly how I build stuff so it’s cool to see someone else using the material and techniques that I use. It looks fantastic. One thing I never considered was gluing the 90 aluminum trim before riveting and or screwing it down. I’ll be doing that from now on. Great video and I’m glad I could learn something.
14:33 Frank Howarth Impression! Love! First time I've heard you giggle! Thanks for keepin' on.
It's absolutely incredible watching your videos and seeing you solving such complex problems in design and construction. Everything you make looks so clean and beautiful. You just really exhibit the skills and mindset that only comes with 40+ years of experience. Can't wait to see the next video!
I did this about 6/7 years ago, the entire outside was sprayed with “Rinoliner” can’t recommend it too highly. If it not to late spray the bottom with it, it’s waterproof, bulletproof, and reasonably light. I’d be interested in how much this one weighs when your done (it’s something I worried about the entire build). Great job, fun watching it being built! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build.

I'd like some kind of proof that "Rinoliner" is bullet proof. The stuff I've seen won't even stop a .380 ACP even when 2" thick.

@@torjones1701 Good point, but I think it’s a figure of speech. For it’s designed purpose, I have to say it’s a good product. I did my truck bed when I bought it back in Sept. 2005. Still going strong and the only marks aside from fading is an occasional oil stain or two. I tow a 5th wheel and when lubing the puck, some of it can splatter on the liner….
Need to put a Piece of diamond plate on the front of the trailer to protect against rocks flying off of a tow vehicle just about 1/3 up from the bottom
More people should be like this. I strive to do as much as I can by myself, research and learn, and jump in and start making and creating. It's the best feeling in the world when you finish a project yourself that you might have paid someone else thousands of dollars to do for you, but you get to save all of that money AND have the satisfaction and the learning experience of doing it yourself. Knowledge is power.
It's therapeutic watching you work through problems because I know somehow you always make it come together in the end.
Killing it again! I like how you incorporated the steel frame and the wood great idea homie! The fit and finish on the aluminum trim work 👏👏👏😎
Really nice build Jimmy. Makes me very happy to see you working in the shop you talked about for years. Much deserved. Thanks for sharing.
You did a great job, especially since you have never done anything like this before. Buying a trailer to start off with is a real time saver. I look forward to watching the rest of this build.
Stellar work, Jimmy. Thanks for sharing the build with us.
Impressive as always Jimmy!! Watching you do something completely new is truly enjoyable.
I love custom made stuff. Your explanations are perfect too. Fun to watch and hear the process.
Loved Taylors blending in overalls!
Beautiful job Jimmy.
That’s a huge undertaking Jimmy , you did great !
Looks stunning!
It just goes to show what you can achieve with the right mindset!!! This is one build that the new owners will be doing cartwheels over, it's looking awesome!!! As always guy's 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
I've never done anything like this or even considered doing it but it was still really interesting seeing this and hearing you're reasoning behind how you've done things. Problem solving is problem solving, looking forward to part 2 👍
Awesome Video, Thank's Jimmy, and your Crew !!
As my late father said, Taking time to build jigs will actually save you time during the build, and they help to cut down that 'back-to-school' time too. Phenomenal build Jim, someday all caravans [UK] will be builf this way!
Nice and girthy. Looks great!
Great job Jimmy.
thats the biggest toaster ive ever seen, much better then any factory built unit, if you look down the walls of them they are all wavy,

@@rudysaldivar4228 When someone gets the flu do we ask if they were vaccinated? How would this be any different? C19 is here and there will never be a time everyone is fully vaccinated. The current vaccine, while still effective won't remain so. It will be a never ending game of cat and mouse similar to the flu vaccine so all of this is really irrelevant. The government, MSM and social media just seem to want to generate fear and distrust and moke people who aren't vacced and get sick or worse die. It's pretty sick. None of this changes the fact that C19 is here to stay. Not sure where you fall within this entire spectrum, but to be blunt, it's nobody's business who's vacced or not. Just so you know I'm not for or against the vaccine.

Badass. Loved seeing that come together
Nice work Jimmy, enjoy your trip!
Tight! Nice work Jimmy, I love the part where you attached the top edge aluminum to the 2x4’s and lifted it up. Simple & genius at the same time👍🏻👍🏻
We use a lot of routers on aluminum at work building signs. There's this grease/wax compound stuff we use and it makes life a lot easier! It comes in a blue cardboard cylinder. Looking forward to Part 2! Much love jimmy!
This was far cooler than I expected it to be! Very cool problem solving! Thanks Jimmy!
Any storm will be the main enemy of your proyect. BTW looks nice.
I was sold when the two metal side frames were fabbed together on the floor. That was certainly a good idea to create the template. I don't think they come from a factory built this strong. Awesome neat and tidy job on everything Jimmy👍👍
Since you've been awfully quiet about this one on IG, I'm chomping at the bit to see it come together. Can't wait to see Part 2! Thanks for sharing!
Just mesmerized by how awesome everything comes together perfectly. You are an artist!!
Absolutely fantastic craftsmanship, would never know it was a first. Great work!
That's gonna be one stout consession trailer a lot of strong attention to detail🤗😎🤗😎 Thanks for the video!
Very nice. Can’t wait to see part 2
Amazing work Jimmy 👍❤
I'm in awe, what an incredible build Jimmy! Looking forward to the next installment. Hope that you guys are all doing well & staying safe. 😉😉👍👍👏👏
That was a great show and tell. Real nice work men. Shows what a professional is all about. No saggin and draggin there.
Looks fantastic, well done.
And the canoe build is sick too ;)
Awesome titanic build, like the work of 20 and you did it with 2-3 and a bit of external help. So inspiring, motvating and such a super antidote to the relentlessly pessimistic media. Thanks for sharing!
You made this look "simple" but only by a huge amount of work, really looks clean and well put together.
Looking forward to the next iteration of this project!
Without exception I always learn something new with everyone of your videos Jimmy. Much appreciated! 👍

What a cool project! The layout on the floor is a freaking brilliant idea!

The hearse!!!!! Beautiful!
Great job so far! Looking forward to seeing the final product.
It looks really good! A fantastic "blank canvas"!
Jimmy, you amaze me every single time. I’ve never heard of glueing wood struts to metal.
And the removal of the router base tip is great! I have had that issue with larger blocks of aluminum I'll keep that in mind.
After seeing the rock solid base in person, it's awesome to know that it not only looks amazing, but is built very strong too!!
Looks great👍👍👍👍 enjoyed the show😊
Incredible build, Jimmy! It looks beautiful!

Thanks Jimmy 👍. I enjoy your narration. 😁
