DiResta A Special Build for a Friend

Ойын-сауық

A Friend was diagnosed with terminal cancer 3 years ago. She asked me to make her casket. I was honored and scared at the same time. She didn’t want anything fancy... something simple with inexpensive materials. The first half of the video was shot in February 2022. The second half was shot in July 2022.
I was happy to make this for a friend & her family.
I love you guys xo
Thank you!!

44 years as a potter, I made about 25 burial urns, for Parents, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, best friends and for people I did not know. These were the most difficult pieces to do, with all the tears running down my face. Vaya con Dios to all of these people. Thanks from St. Paul Minnesota.

Jimmy, I’m a cancer survivor and carpentry enthusiast. Early in my chemo treatments I had enough energy to build a small box to hold the essential oils I used to overcome chemo-induced nausea, which I still use today. This video brought back profound memories of the peace I felt 7 years ago, working with those 1x4 trim boards, wondering what was going to be next for me and more importantly, my wife. Later in chemo I was lower on energy and stumbled upon Dirty Money, which introduced me to you, and I streamed in excess while I laid on the couch. Your creativity and spirit are a wonderful gift. Thank you for selflessly sharing both.
