Legit looked this up to send a friend because I was nerding out about shows and was telling them how I caught Die's bass pick last time I saw them. And then they were like, who is Dir En Grey? 😅

It's 2023, and The Final has made me cry almost every time I've listened for 18 years.

kyos voice is fucking unmatched. the way he can change his vocal range from high and soft and falsetto, then scream like a demon 🥺

Back then he was already fucking good, but now? He truly is almost unmatched. The only other vocalists that come to mind when I think of their versatility in these areas are people like Mike Patton and Devin Townsend. I don't think we've even really heard the true extent of his abilities yet.

I was listening to this when i was like, 14 and now i'm 22 and it's still bloody good.

Seriously this song changed my entire life. I was 13 years old and a friend gave me a copy of Withering to Death and I listened to it so much that I wore out the cd. This song gives me so many emotions. I had such a hard time in life at that age and finding the Vk culture helped me get away from it all! I would give anything to see them live!

I feel the same. But sadly, even if you saw them live nowadays, they don't do the VK thing on stage anymore. I saw them twice (2007 and 2009) and Die literally wore jeans and an Adidas jacket on stage. :'(

私はTHE FINALが一番好きですね😄 今40歳でDIR EN GREYを聴き始めたのは2年ぐらい前からなのですが、偶然THE FINALの2013バージョンをKZreadで発見したのです。 まさに衝撃を受けたって感じです！ 今まで聴いたことのない曲。 ほんと絶望的な歌詞なのですが、聞き終えると生命力が沸いてきて、ここからまた頑張っていこうって思えるんです。 今でも全く飽きないで、毎日聴いて歌ってます。 DIR EN GREYの5人にはマジ感謝してます！ 痛みに寄り添ってくれてありがとう😄

This was one of my favourite songs when I was 13-14 years old and in a really bad place in my life. Nowadays I don’t listen to this kind of music anymore but just randomly remembered this and it’s still so, so good. Powerful. Jrock really helped me back then even though people thought I was weird. I remember trying to google for translations and couldn’t find many back then, or understand, since my first language isn’t English. But I got the emotion.

This is one of my favourite DIR EN GREY's songs

That moment when you've been a fan since La Sadies....and most of the band members are near 50 now but still look like they're in there 20's...those are some good genes. 😂

They look their age, especially considering all the alcohol and smoke/cigarettes intake. However, for everything Kyo has done to himself, he looks great now. Been a fan since Gauze era, but so good to see a La Sadies veteran.

I've been a fan of dir en grey since 2009 and havent regretted being a dedicated fan of theirs. My only regret is i havent gotten to see them live.

I haven't listened to Dir en grey in about a year, as soon as Kyo started singing I fell in love all over again.

The first time I met Dir En Grey (through a promoter friend of mine) and listened to this song live, I felt a part of something, and closer to each of them. I will always feel like this song explains me.
